    LCM vs. Woodville

LCM in a high scoring bout. Unfortunately, I think that’s how all the games will be for the bears this year, entertaining nonetheless.

  2. Desmond Demas dominates in a Sandlot game across the street from Tomball ISD Stadium. In interview after the game he states “ my grades are better than ever and the level of competition on the Sandlot is second to none”.

  5. This dog won’t ever count the Stangs out...... I’m hoping we can run the ball and grind out a W at home. Here’s to hoping both teams come out of this injury free and battle tested.

  6. Think PN-G will take this in a close one. Silsbee notoriously always starts slow but gets better as the season progresses

  7. I wish they would've trotted out the ole statue of liberty play and ran a bunch of end arounds. I saw United throwing vertical towards the end zone, I guess they were trying to "win" as well. Good grief. I reckon their HC wanted to see if it would work in game conditions in a glorified practice.

  8. I just got home from this scrimmage and I have some observations. #1. Dobie blitz every other down. And I mean blitz like everything and the kitchen sink. That neutralized the Timerberwolf running game. #2. Due to Dobie blitzing so much, screen passes and quick passes in the seams were wide open all day. United went to this a few times for positive yards and IMHO, Could've did this all night. #3 Dobie's weird misdirection offense was hard for the United D to catch on to but as the scrimmage went on, they were better equipped to slow it down. #4. United's Best Linemen didn't play. #5. Things were very vanilla on United's side while Obviously, Dobie was trying to win as they unveiled a reverse flea flicker type play. I think United will be fine for kickoff next week and look forward to them cleaning some things up. PS... Shout out to the Sophemore that made plays all night. Good open field tackles and the 90 yard INT return for paydirt.

  9. Thought: Who, 60 or over, and has not yet retired, would take $1,000,000 and never have to pay taxes on this portion, and not take any future Social Security benefits? This would be a deal with the government. Pros and cons?

Today is the day! College Gameday is on and all is right with the world. Sorry king, but I don’t think this one is going to go so well for you

  12. LCM is very capable of pulling out the W. If the o line and d line step it up, LCM by 7

  14. W.o passing game isn't there yet. But he is throwing the ball better. So he is gonna hit a few down field. Defensively if Nederland can't throw the ball it will be a hard game for Nederland to win.i honestly say teams took advantage of the bad dline play w.o showed for almost 10 weeks last year.this is a new year!! #69 will be a problem no matter who w.o face.lol the wr core are young but once they get .look out !! Next 3yrs will be scary.

  15. History doesn't win games, but PNG has beaten Silsbee 13-straight times. Last win for the Tigers was in 1994.

  16. Very good analysis. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a high school team blitz as much as they did in this scrimmage, let alone an actual game.

  17. That’s funny, I mean I understand trying to move the ball down field but a trick play should be used at practice and if your in the playoffs in a desperate moment.

  18. That's my point.. there us no winning a scrimmage but they were trying to do something pretty close to being called a win...

    PNG @ WB scrimmage

Troy will be okay and most likely throw for 3k yards this season. Anderson will relieve him and be the running threat Lil Ray was last Yr.

  23. My prediction: dry weather and a dry field.

    PNG @ WB scrimmage

Yea no doubt about that, but you just have to think how many games Rav won or at least kept them in with his playmaking, an think can Troy do that, not to mention the WR talent lost from last year and with Holland being hurt it’s going to make it that much harder. But your def right Troy is the better passer but a mile, but that playmaking is going to be missed and I could see it last night as well as last week

  25. Please excuse me while I LOL. Apartment complexes / rental properties have completely diminished this idea. As stated above, open enrollment doesn't determine eligibility but RESIDENCE DOES. The UIL, the district, nor the coaches can do anything about where a kid moves to along with his/her legal guardian. A change of permanent residency is all it takes for a kid to be eligible to play somewhere else 15 days after the transfer date. If you don't think this is happening in mass numbers all across the state every year (especially bigger cities) then you're sadly mistaken.

  26. You would think WO-S would run away with this just based on the overwhelming physical speed they possess...

  27. Splendora had a great year last year, and have a good, very good coaching staff, but with the quality of football 4A talent in the state, they belong 25-30 at best. Just my opinion and not trying to be negative to splendora.
