  1. I might make it over there. My older brother did 26 years in the Navy and lives in Richmond. I am sure that he will take part. I wish the Battleship Texas was back open to the public but it still has a few months before the final berth is ready in Galveston.

Saw it, and like everyone else, did not catch it. The insert box even had the correct count and changed after the third strike. lol. Good thing it wasn’t game changing.

  9. They didn’t specifically mention the presidency but Sauer in his arguments stated that by 2015 there were like 200 or 500 (I don’t remember the numbers) companies in China whose business it is to send women to the US to have babies and then bring them back to China to be raised by their laws and culture. Then they could return later as they were US citizens at birth. One is the follow up questions for his was something like, is there any evidence of that happening or any numbers of people returning or something to that effect. My follow up might have been, it’s only 11 years since 2015. No one born around then is an adult yet.

  11. If you think Trump is doing this on pen and paper, you are mistaken. He is surrounded by smart Generals. Iran has struck a few us bases because they knew where they were plus luck....Russia helping is strictly unnamed sources......about as probable as Trump and Russiagate, which had all of you believing.

  14. The cost per barrel is the cost for the crude, with freight being the obligation of the buyer. I’ve wondered the same thing… we’ve had gas prices this high before, but the per barrel price for oil was much higher. I wonder if the cost to transport, refine, transport, market and dispense the fuel has increased since those Bush/obama years? I don’t know.

Schools like Shepherd, Hardin, and Tarkington need staff consistency for sure. Schools with limited talent also have to adapt their schemes to fit their players, some fans/parents don't like that. Hardin had an outstanding year, but would they have been as successful had they remained in a spread offense? The same applies to Shepherd. Some towns want a flashy offense without the players to execute it.

  18. Leaving? When did we get there? I’m kinda a math guy, so if other countries are stepping in after we have basically leveled their military, we can slowly back out and let them finish whatever is left. who knows, maybe that was the plan from the beginning…..

They have had longevity of a head coach which is very beneficial. Also they have had some talent come through. Facilities have taken a big step forward as well.

Not sure really but if I had to guess it’d be area growth. I’m sure coaching plays a part as well. Have friends whose boys played very recently and would constantly mention how much work the teams put in. Also helps when the players buy in and care.

  26. Yeah, that’s why I think interest balancing may come into play. Interest balancing when I heard it is like safety versus the Second Amendment. One side argues that it is an individual right to possess defense firearms. The other side says that has to be weighed against the safety of the public because of statistics. So if the homicide rate is higher in Chicago, the city can ban the possession of firearms in the interest of safety over individual rights. So government interest is balanced against individual rights. No matter what Elk and Wong Son Ark say, is it more of an interest for consistency as opposed to the original intent. In the oral arguments going on right now it was asked, “what about the humanitarian crisis?”. Was humanitarian issues of people from other countries intent of the Fourteenth Amendment or was the intent to make sure that African slaves were not denied citizenship after the Dred Scott decision? I don’t thing they writing and debate on the Fourteenth Amendment at that time was about people in other countries who may have bad living conditions. I such an issue would be ludicrous but that was the question just asked. What about the humanitarian crisis….. So no matter what, I think and have thought that the Supreme Court will finally put the issue to rest and simply say if you can make it to US soil at birth, you are a citizen, which in effect changes nothing from the last 150 years. But….. what will they say, if anything, about territories overseas?

  28. I realize that’s a national average. When factoring in California, NY, and other blue states, the price goes way up. Some people are only concerned with their cost.

  31. We’re pretty much at June 2022 prices. Regardless who was president it still sucks! In June 2022, diesel fuel prices in Southeast Texas and across the state soared to record highs, averaging well over $5 per gallon. In the Beaumont-Port Arthur area, diesel prices reached nearly $5.30 per gallon by mid-June 2022, with similar high averages reported in neighboring regions, driven by extreme market demand and tight supplies.

  32. If you have YouTube, there are multiple live streams. Already showing protestors on the Reuters channel with signs saying Trump must go now, etc. look like well-funded groups. POTUS is on his way to attend. I think there’s gonna be a fight between a young black woman with a siren blasting over a Hispanic man with a microphone advocating automatic birthright citizenship. She’s shouting America First over him. This is gonna become WWE before it’s over .

At one time this site was the only place to get local scores updated in real time. We had threads for every game with great fans that updated every inning and some every batter. Now every team has GameChanger that anyone with a cell phone can pull up any game live. No other sport has this, thus they need this message board for updates. I did see one local varsity GC get shut off because the parent that was scoring for the team gave Little Jonny an error. His parents ran to the school board and said it was a hit. Maybe that team still needs this site…..

    The Save Act

If they pass the save act, and you have to re-register for any reason, you won’t be able to vote without proving citizenship to the voter registrar no later than 30 days before Election Day. Maybe you move. Maybe they change your voting precinct. Maybe you get married and take your husband’s last name with a hyphen. Maybe you’re a college kid who wants to register to vote where he now lives, but his birth certificate is back home in the state where he grew up. Maybe the president says “we all need to re-register”-this being the more likely outcome, but directed only towards political affiliation or location. As in, “Oh, there was cheating in Fulton County, Georgia like no one has ever seen. Not in nice places like the ones where you all live, but in disgusting places like Atlanta, or Phoenix? Those people will definitely be forced to reregister before voting in November.” Fun stuff like that happens when you have a wanna be dictator who’s constantly in conflict with reality. Either way, it’s not a big deal unless you need to register. The thing is this. There was no cheating in 2016. Horrible cheating in 2020. No problems with the election returns in 2024. But now that the Republicans are on the ropes and losses are almost guaranteed this fall, the rs have to do something to keep as many people as they can from voting. Illegals voting in our elections doesn’t happen. It’s just more of Trump peddling lies to the more unfortunately witted amongst us, which they snap up like red trucker hats.

    The Save Act

Every time you hear about somebody trying to stop people from voting, it’s a Republican. Republicans are a dying breed. They need to “Make America Great Again.” Like pre-1964, before the Civil Rights Act. How about a little more separate but equal… is that what they mean by Great Again? Maybe they’re talking pre-suffrage, when women were finally allowed to vote? Or would yall prefer to go back to pre-civil war days? How far back until we’re “Great Again.” Republicans want to go back to ways of thinking that were exclusionary, biased, and wrong. They miss the days when they oppressed everybody, but those hateful days are thankfully over and we’re never going back. Too much progress has been made, and the correct movement is correctly named progressive.
