Cristian Javier gets his 2nd start of the year this afternoon. I thought Astro pitching did a phenomenal job last night late in game. Shut down Orioles in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th inning when they had runners in scoring position with no outs. Abreu gave up a double in the 9th but then struck out the next three to end the threat. De Los Santos was money in the 11th and 12th to get the win.

  3. Not when districts are gerrymandered and laws are passed making voting more difficult. When majorities oppose policies of Congress (guns, reproductive rights, immigration, import taxes, income taxes, etc., etc., etc.)and their votes don’t matter, it’s time for something to change.

Depending on what you mean, that is part of “circumstances”.

Orioles 1st baseman’s defense on the squeeze bunt was awesome. Gloved it to home. Alexander has been pitching well except for the 2 run dinger, but that’s baseball. Hang one out over the plate and it’s gone. The way the Astros have been playing at home, it’s nice to get a win for the home crowd. I’ll take it. Lol

Mariners lose to Mets. Astros can move back to 1 1/2 up with a win.

  8. I believe there is a rule on it. But I believe someone (a coach) would have to file the complaint.

  9. I forgot to mention, when I was at WO-S at Lumberton scrimmage, Lumberton actually had a PA doing play by. Pretty sure that was a first for me. In fact, I can't recall ever a scrimmage I attended that had a PA, let alone doing play by. I guess they needed practice as well. lol

  10. I still can't get over the amount of players HJ had on varsity. 53!!! Coach said they had over 120 in the program. By far the most I have ever heard for Hardin-Jefferson.

Trump probably leaned in and said “that’s the one that took out Irans nuclear, in the middle of the night, undetected”

  13. In the BISD case, the naming of the stadium was strictly a school board kissing butt. Majority of community wasn't really behind it. (including part of the black community). The school board made the decision without any input from the community. Only a very small portion of the community want the stadium name to go back to Thomas. Might be a loud portion, but definitely not the majority. I can't speak on the Midland community and how the majority of it's community wanted the Lee name back. Sounds like their voices were heard. I think it's different due to what the majority wants from both these communities.

[Hidden Content] Interesting bit from the article: Hader will not throw for three weeks after being diagnosed with a left capsule shoulder strain on Friday. He will fill that time with rest and strengthening exercises and be reevaluated to see if he can resume a throwing program. "We'll see how my body recovers and how it's taking on rehab," Hader said. "Right now for me, I'm trying to get as strong as I can for these next three weeks and see where I go from there." Once he's able to throw again, Hader said he would need an additional ramp-up period of about three weeks in order to pitch in games, which would likely rule him out of the remainder of the regular season. But, the six-time All-Star hopes to return in the postseason for the Astros, who entered Saturday leading the American League West by a half-game over Seattle.
