We are losing our younger customers. Putting a mentally ill trans female ought to fix that!!! After all, a person that represents about 1/50 of 1% of the adult public should do it…. A company should fire someone with such marketing stupidity and then fire the person about that who approved it.

It really bothers me they now just guesstimate if a 1st down is made. I have seen them pull up and move the sticks before there is any possibility of the ball being spotted, within an inch or two of the line to make. I almost never see measurements anymore.

Same coaching staff and not a whole lot of talent. The Junior class is going to be decent, I don’t know if many sophomores will make varsity, the senior class will be weak like last season’s class Under this coaching staff, I look for the season results to be anywhere from2-8 to 5-5 and sitting at home again with district record either 3-4 or 2-5 Posters that are honest and correctly evaluate the game know that last year, the team played like an HISD school

The intent is to speed up the college game. They probably have much more capable officiating crews. Is there a problem with high school games running long? Toss in that college has 15 minute quarters but high school only 12 minutes. The college game is the equivalent of 5 12 minute periods. I just don’t see where there is the need to speed up a high school game.

No has nothing to do with being lazy or not knowing there was a track forum. In fact it was the opposite, knowing there would be zero discussion if posted in the track forum. Track is not a topic that has a lot of interest and the season is coming to a close. 7 other posts since the first of the year with what 4-5 responses. This one got more than that in an hour before it was moved. Lets be honest, most sprint track boys athletes are football players being made to run to improve their speed and there is carryover to the football field which was the entire point of the post.

I’m all for people doing what they want and being who they want to be, no matter how silly or crazy it seems to me. But the second that those choices affect other people, whether it be in sports, or little girls having to use the restroom next to grown men, or any other related issue, my support for your “rights” drops to zero. The idea that the feelings of .5% of the population are more important that the fairness and safety of all women is absolutely absurd. I’m reminded of a little blurb from Family Guy I saw awhile back. A bartender walks up to a lady sitting at the bar on her phone and says “excuse me ma’am, no porn at the bar.” She replies “oh, it’s okay, I’m transgender.” And the bartender says “oh, I had no idea. Do whatever you want, all the time.”

I don’t drink beer, but if I drank bud light I would still drink it. I just don’t care. That said, this was obviously not going to work out. Your buyer base is conservatives. The crowd you’re trying to cater to isn’t going to give up their craft beers and IPAs to start drinking bud light, but now you’ve angered your devoted buyer base by celebrating arguably their worst trigger in the middle of the biggest culture war our country has ever seen. Stupidity.

Me being a cowboys a fan so speaking for me personally. I don’t really want a TE in round 1.. I feel like that’s a position we can get later. But you are right about DLineman or DB. Anything to get help for parsons. TE I feel like the 2 young rookies last year did great.

yes I checked some others. there are about 300 teams in Division I baseball. All of Southland other than A&M Corpus and Houston Christian ranks between 100 and 150. So Southland is in the middle of the pack in baseball. It hasn't sunk to the bottom like the other sports.

@TxHoops obviously your a huge fan of Coach Johnson and hopefully you are right. But honestly his 6-51 experience with his second year not showing any improvement from the first year, how do you get a head coaching job. You figure he would be committed to righting the ship at Chilton or maybe getting an assistant job to figure out what is not working. Connell does not have experience yet but there is only one way for him to get it and whoever gives him that first chance will not be disappointed. Orange field boys job is now open which is in our district, its hard for me to believe that he would get an interview with a 6-51 record. Like it or not part of coaching is winning. Don't get me wrong our program has not been head and shoulders above everyone else but we have consistently put a competitive team together that makes the playoffs. But there is nothing wrong with us wanting a young man that is from here and has given his heart and soul to this town. What's wrong with our own kids graduating going off, playing college ball, coming home and taking over the program they are from. It happens all the time in the college ranks, some high school but for some reason here in Buna we don't hire our own unless they are from a select group of families. Lastly and I am moving on, I hope Coach Johnson does a great job and we're going to show him support.

Yea but I think he has definitely found his place as a safety. That's what he plays in these select 7 on 7 leagues and camps. Defense should be fine but losing Williams, Harper and Martin is a pretty good loss.

Well it might be the "correct" forum but this forum has about zero activity so if being correct is more important than having actual discussions then job well done. I posted in relevance to football as a potential clue that team speed was improving. Some soon to be Sr and Jr boys were atop some of the sprints which was eye opening considering the field.

This issue is beyond stupid. I can’t even believe it’s a thing. Change your sex or whatever all you want. But you don’t do it and expect to compete against our daughters. That’s lunacy and a good way to push swing voters to the right.
