You're understanding is flawed. The actual Hebrew interpretation is thou shall not murder, more precise interpretation is thou shall not take an innocent life. The unborn is innocent, convicted criminals aren't.3 points -

Actually we’re debating for the rights of the unborn child. The woman can make her choice prior to participating in sexual relations, but the unborn child has no one supporting his/her rights, nor any choice in the matter. Others decide if the unborn child will live or be slaughtered. Their bodies torn apart and parts sold like a piece of cattle.3 points -

And you probably think murder is atrocious. If so, you can understand why anti-abortionist find abortion so repugnant, we see it as murder. Whether you’re pro or anti, that explanation should at least show why those anti-abortion or so adamant about it. To the pro-abortionist it’s a matter of “rights”, serious enough in it’s own respect, but murder tops it. I post this not to change your opinion but simply to show why those of us in the anti group feel as strongly as we do.2 points -

Nope, they are still guilty of the crime they've commented. Yes, God will forgive them for their sins if they truly ask Him and they will enter the kingdom of heaven, but they still will pay for the consequences of their actions. Which in a death penalty case, he/she will and should be put to death.2 points -

Where do the left get the idea that those against abortion don't care about the kids after they're born? That's a bunch of BS. I get it that there are children not wanted, neglected and not loved, but that has nothing to do whether or not someone is for or against abortion. I think that's just a made up excuse to kill a unwanted baby.2 points -

Copied this from someone's post on Facebook. I'm not pro-murdering babies. I'm pro-Becky who found out at her 20-week anatomy scan that the infant she had been so excited to bring into this world had developed without life sustaining organs. I'm pro-Susan who was sexually assaulted on her way home from work, only to come to the horrific realization that her assailant planted his seed in her when she got a positive pregnancy test result a month later. I'm pro-Theresa who hemorrhaged due to a placental abruption, causing her parents, spouse, and children to have to make the impossible decision on whether to save her or her unborn child. I'm pro-little Cathy who had her innocence ripped away from her by someone she should have been able to trust and her 11-year-old body isn't mature enough to bear the consequence of that betrayal. I'm pro-Melissa who's working two jobs just to make ends meet and has to choose between bringing another child into poverty or feeding the children she already has because her spouse walked out on her. I'm pro-Brittany who realizes that she is in no way financially, emotionally, or physically able to raise a child. I'm pro-Emily who went through IVF, ending up with SIX viable implanted eggs requiring selective reduction to ensure the safety of her and a SAFE number of fetuses. I'm pro-Jessica who is FINALLY getting the strength to get away from her physically abusive spouse only to find out that she is carrying the monster's child. I'm pro-Vanessa who went into her confirmation appointment after YEARS of trying to conceive only to hear silence where there should be a heartbeat. I'm pro-Lindsay who lost her virginity in her sophomore year with a broken condom and now has to choose whether to be a teenage mom or just a teenager. I'm pro-Courtney who just found out she's already 13 weeks along, but the egg never made it out of her fallopian tube so either she terminates the pregnancy or risks dying from internal bleeding. You can argue and say that I'm pro-choice all you want, but the truth is: I'm pro-life. Their lives. Women's lives. You don't get to pick and choose which scenarios should be accepted. It's not about which stories you don't agree with. It's about fighting for the women in the stories that you do agree with and the CHOICE that was made. Women's rights are meant to protect ALL women, regardless of their situation! Overturning Roe does not stop abortions, it stops SAFE abortions! Abortion is healthcare. Like I stated above, I really don't have a side. I see both. I don't think this law should be broad stroked. Should be fine point. I don't agree with all abortions but I don't agree with anti abortion. It's a tough decision.2 points -
Thanks for your opinion and your never ending hijacking of threads, but we are talking about practice, practice. Not the fall games, practice. Not how great Crosby is, practice. So you have any comments on that or will you fill the thread about how PN-G has no chance unless Crosby plays their JV? PS. I acknowledge your football IQ but damn I would like to open a thread once about PN-G that doesn't have your comments about Crosby, FB Marshall etc. We all get it, they are great.2 points

Honestly, that’s a sticking point for some. I get it. But I can tell you that if my wife was raped and became pregnant, she would have the baby and either put it up for adoption or possibly even keep it. She would have my support either way. It’s a fair question though.2 points -
We definitely know who is "full of it". "It be you", and everyone knows it. The pro-life crowd, along with many others, agree that sex education is the domain of the parents, not the school. Only Liberal nutcases think they own your children. The pro-life crowd, along with many, many others, agree that abortion procedures or abortion pills should not be a form of birth control. Once conception has been achieved, abortion should be outlawed. I don't know anyone that is against contraceptives pre-conception, and I don't know of anyone or any group trying to make it hard to get these. The pro-life crowd, along with many, many, many others, agree that Planned Parenthood sites are for abortions and should be shut down. If you believe life begins at conception, why would you want Planned Parenthood sites operational. I must assume this concept is too complex for you to comprehend. The pro-life crowd, along with many, many, many, many others, agree that SNAP (food stamps program) is corrupt and rife with fraudulent and/or ineligible recipients. The program should be overhauled. Only Liberal nutcases believe the worn-out false stereotype that non-Liberals want to eliminate food stamps for those who really need them. Looks like you outed yourself. Well, not really, we already knew. Only Liberal nutcases think fellow Libs should be free to live life with zero accountability for their actions. Everyone else should support and pay for their mistakes. I guess you are one of those fanatics. But of course, we already knew that. Maybe we should apply your philosophy to other situations. Let's say I get drunk, drive my car, get in a wreck, and seriously injure another person. Instead of society having to pay for that persons future medical needs, I can just finish him off. Problem solved. Let's say I get drunk, make a stupid wager and lose, and owe a guy a lot of money. I guess I can just abort him. Problem solved. Let's say I get drunk, meet a girl, and marry her. After sobriety kicks in, I realize that was a mistake. I guess I can just abort her. Problem solved. What other examples can we detail using your philosophy of life in which consequences of life choices can be resolved with termination?2 points

I agree we are getting closer to a swing state. I disagree with abortion, but I think there are times it should be an option, rape, medical issues, etc. I think that option should be closer to conception than delivery though. However, this particular issue is not for or against abortion itself, but that the SC should not decide it as a constitutional issue. That I agree with.1 point -

I agree that adoption is tough. but the types of adoption you're talking about doesn't really do a whole lot to help with the problem. go through the state and take some kids that are living in poverty, that have been abused, that have been forgotten. The majority of folks trying to adopt are trying to get a newborn, same-race child with no issues and no strings attached. That becomes more a business deal than actually helping with our country's overwhelming unwanted children crisis. I wholeheartedly agree that it should be a lot easier though, and it should be a lot more affordable.1 point -

Interesting observation. There was a documented drop in violent crime in the 1990s. [Hidden Content] Do any of y'all wonder if the drop in violent crime that came roughly 18 years after Roe v Wade had a lot more to do with a generation of unwanted kids who never became criminals because they were aborted? Those women who don't want to give birth won't change gears and become good moms because we force them to go through with their child birth.1 point -

Don’t lump me in with the “You Guys”. I have a bigger problem with Corporate Welfare and Cronyism. My brother and his wife tried to adopt 3 times due to the fact they could not have children. All 3 times the adoption fell thru because the mother changed her mind at the last minute after having the opportunity to hold the own child in their arms. It’s not as easy as you think to adopt a child not to mention the ungodly red tape you have to go through. The list of parents waiting to adopt is forever long. I say cut the bureaucracy for these parents an get the unwanted kids into these loving homes of parents wanting kids.1 point -

Yeah, but they also expected there to be a separation of church and state. Nobody wanted a "church of England" over here. The whole thing is you have to find a balance. Christians believe in paying tithes. Should the government seize 10% of your gross income to give to churches? It's ordered in the Bible, after all. Slavery was illegal right up until it wasn't. It took the 13th Amendment, not the Civil War to finally end the practice in the US. It would be really simple to outlaw abortion through the same procedure- A constitutional Amendment banning abortion or allowing it... except neither side has the votes to do so... never have, never will.1 point -

Well buddy I have adopted one into my house and I also have 4 of my own kids. i take care of all them on one income….. The cycle will never end because we bail adults out of the responsibility. Since your all for snuffing life out. Sit down with your kids and look them in the eye and tell them your ok with killing babies. Can you do that? With your mindset you will get a reaction from child that you will dislike. Children have a way to answering life’s problems in a very pure way. do you value life at all….yours, your parents, your children, your students? also since you want to blame Christians for things….if I’m not mistaken you’ve mention that your wife and kids go to church…..are they part of that group you blame too. how many reasons or excuses can one come up with as well as not be hypocritical to try to validate the killing of innocent pure life?1 point -

My humble opinion is that our state is getting closer and closer to a swing state, and the right isn't going to get away with doing extreme conservative right things for very long, even if the SC is (for the moment) stacked with conservative justices. It's also true that all the guys on here backslapping over this would be losing their mind if the roles were reversed and a bunch of liberal justices were setting liberal precedents that weren't representative of the country's beliefs as a whole.1 point -

I really don't have a side either. If you think that human life begins at conception, then any abortion is murder. If you think that human life begins at birth, then any pre-birth abortion would be acceptable. I don't see how anyone can factor rape into the equation. It is either murder or not.1 point -
Just watched a liberal lady whining about women should have a choice. Pardon me lady, but you can make the choice prior to conception. If a woman doesn’t wish to have a baby she can take a pill to prevent pregnancy, similar to people having to get a vaccine to keep their job. They can get their tubes tied. Force their partner to wear a rubber. And gasp, abstinence.1 point

Interesting. BF and company couldn’t fix the defense after being there over a decade but Joseph’s staff fixes it in 7 practices🤔 Sounds like y’all made the right decision. Make sure you don’t get scheme and personnel confused though. For instance, off the top of my head I can only remember one TD Crosby scored on PNG last year from a scheme mistake the DB made against Womack. All the rest of the TDs(really only talking about first half when starters were in) were a result of Crosby being bigger and faster than PNG. The great coaches like Joseph’s dad figure out how to mitigate those disadvantages. PNG is going to have to wait until the fall to see if the same is true for Jr.1 point -
