  2. There's only one East Texas school in Region 2 (Tyler) It's closer for Lufkin to go south than it is to go to DFW

  5. Anybody else watch the Kennedy Center town hall meeting? A lot of truth was said, and some BS
  6. Yea, I saw the no king rally. Good observation. You know how people feel about polls. Not reliable at all according to you. Especially if it came from cnn. Also saw the picture you posted of the rally. It was far from the truth.
  7. Asking for the people, will this be streamed? Seems like all the big games are this week.
  8. Today
  9. Stallworth ain't too bad, and may have an elevator, I don't recall. Dayton stands are impressive; the NDN Press kid called it the "stairway to heaven". Never been to or even seen Lufkin stadium. The last time I was in Lufkin was when we evacuated for Hurricane Ike, and it took 24 hrs to get there from Mont Belvieu. But the Whataburger breakfast was good. Oh, the humanity! Oh, and I'm saying PAM by at least 2 TDs.
  10. I understand the frustration, although I don't have a so-called dog in the fight this year, neither with trying to buy tickets, nor a grandchild or other relative involved in the game. But I wouldn't think that NISD can really do anything. They hired a 3rd party, and I wouldn't expect them to have hold the 3rd party's hand. Reportedly PNG previously used the same 3rd party, but apparently either learned their lesson, or else got a better deal with another outfit. Apparently information about any bad experience(s) weren't shared with NISD folks. NISD I'm sure wants to bring in as much $ as possible, that's reportedly the reason this game isn't played at Lamar. But surely there are codes that must be followed, for fire and emergency, and a maximum capacity for the stadium. It's not like the old standing room only days I guess. Otherwise, then take everyone's money and let them stand behind the end zones, just as you say.
  11. Trump winning the Schumer shutdown!
  12. 100% true!!
  13. First off, where's the best food in Lufkin?? lol. Looking at the district games only and i mean this very respectfully, the Panthers offense struggled against BH, WB, and even sterling was able to move the ball and put up some points beating them by 10. Now, with the history of Lufkin, do you see this as a rebuilding year? I ask cause the Lufkin Panthers i have seen and heard about, would not let Sterling score 21,or go into OT with WB. I thought the BH was going to be where Lufkin came out swinging. My understanding is yall have some injuries and i like to think that was a factor. Now, thats not saying PAM can't have a bad game these last two. My worry is I don't want to see them playing from behind, in yall stadium. I'm not sure if they can recover because it seems like Lufkin also turns it up second half. I'm very cautious to think PAM is coming in to smash. This game gives me NS vibes back when we would play them. I think that stadium is gonna be loud with a playoff game atmosphere. Kids get up and play REALLY hard for games like this especially being home. 38-21 PAM is my prediction with a win. 35-28 Lufkin if we take the L
  14. Me either. They were/are chain link and Obama created them, but of course you dodged the gist of my post. Trump is called a king or dictator because of his actions against sanctuary cities harboring illegals and criminals. Obama deported 3 million and I saw no protests in the streets or congressmen screaming for due process like they did Garcia. I’m just ashamed of the fake outrage of it all. Soros didn’t care about those illegals enough to fund a protest?
  15. True dat! This No Kings protest can also be referred to as GrandTifa! LOL!
  16. My son was on Blue Cross Blue Shield bronze 6. His job did not offer health insurance. There was a law that jobs had to provide health insurance for their full time employees. To get around that the employer would only hire part time workers to keep from providing health insurance.
  17. I have helped homeless people who didn’t have anything but were suffering serious medical conditions. One person was type 1 and could not afford insulin.
  18. [Hidden Content] Need to read the details. There’s a clearer explanation in The Wall Street Journal today. But, it’s behind a paywall. Note: My wife and I are on ACA & have been since 2018. We’re very familiar with the positives and negatives.
  19. The more you paid into it the better your coverage was. It is income based. If you made more you paid more but it was affordable for those who had preexisting conditions or needed surgery.
  20. If you made below $16000.00 a year you had no monthly premiums Some plans had $0 doctors visits and I believe tier one medication may have been $2.00. One of the plans was Ambetter. It was based off of your zip code. Yes it was affordable.
  21. Here is a link to the playlist of 28 of the 30 bands. A couple (Anahuac, Hardin) keep crashing as I render them.
  22. You still haven’t explained how it was affordable. Was it?
  23. [Hidden Content]
  24. The current plan will expire. The most people in those red states are suffering. Why do you think old white people are protesting.
  25. Red states have the most people, period. Why do we need a replacement? Wasn’t obama’s plan affordable? No one replaces a great plan.
  26. That would only prove that the data was accurate and he fired people because the information provided was not to his liking and made him look unpresidential.
  27. Red states had the most people enrolled in ACA. My point is his base will suffer. He needs to provide a replacement. What is his plan for health insurance?
