Well, this is interesting, but I still have reservations about a machine in charge of a weapon system that can think on its own.

I hope the UIL deny the opt ups if BC/HJ+ tries to it again. We all know why they opted up, but at the end of the day the UIL allowed this to happen. Side note: It would be kind of cool if there was no more d1&2 and just 4A. All of Orange County would be in a district. This would probably never happen but would be fun for Orange County (assuming OF will be 4a). I imagine this would help eliminate the problem of districts having teams that are hours apart statewide. -
Montgomery (45) @ Nederland (27) - FINAL

If it’s Barrow, it’s totally wrong. He wasn’t performing and Nederland needed to try something else -

Moral victories count for absolutely nothing! -
I was never much of a Barbay fan but his numbers aren't bad at all. These are his official records at Jasper: 87-34 overall (.719) 40-6 in district play (.869) (4 district championships) 14-10 playoff record (.583) His first 4 seasons at Jasper: 33-17 overall (.660) 16-4 district record (.800) 6-4 playoff record (.600) He made the playoffs all 10 seasons. His worst record was 6-5 (his last season). Lost only 6 district games in 10 years.
-
Barbay didn’t have shabby numbers first 3 years at Jasper 26-11 career at Jasper 86-32. By glancing at the numbers he’s the 2nd winningest coach there.

The Democrats whined because they lost the last election. They don’t have the votes to get their way so they held America hostage for a month and a half, had benefits cut for some people, got others furloughed, screwed up air traffic for…… absolutely nothing. It was an attempt to get around the legislative process. In other words, we don’t have the votes to get our way so we will stomp our feet in anger and have people hurt so that we can do what we don’t have the votes to do!! The second in charge of the Democrats in the House (minority whip) literally said that this was their only way to get around not having the votes to pass their agenda. They don’t like that elections have consequences. I guarantee that the Republicans didn’t go along with Obamacare but they didn’t have the votes to stop it. That’s the way it works. So after several weeks of causing suffering for many people, with no results, 8 Democrats finally gave in, knowing that it was suffering inflicted for show. Will they use the same tactic in a few months?

Port Arthur Thursday night I might go to Mansfield friday for Trinity and Lake Ridge

Thursday: Canadian vs Muleshoe for a half; Amarillo Palo Duro vs El Paso Hanks Friday: Spearman vs New Deal and Hale Center vs Bovina Saturday: Houston Heights vs Houston Stratford; Aldine Davis vs The Woodlands
-
The shutdown is going to be over only because the election is over for now. It was nothing more than an election talking point for the Dems. Anyone who didn’t see that is really foolish.
