I can't imagine it is worse than 2nd hand smoke or air quality next to all our refineries.

I sold my home in Lumberton to go remodel my childhood home in PA after my Father passed. I'm waiting on rates to sell it and get back to Lumberton or Silsbee, preferably Lumberton. When I first moved to Lumberton in 2000, I received 2 speeding tickets 10 days apart......Stupid ones, like 44 in a 35 on Westchance cutoff.......I was mad at first, but learned to appreciate a clean town and very little crime. Lumberton has it's problems, but I would choose it over anyplace in our area.

Vidor did way better than expected they had 5 tds in the scrimmage part and 2 of those were passes. They allowed one td per both teams. On the 12 minutes scrimmages they had one TD pass and Nacogdoches had one Against Jasper had one rushing td and Jasper had none.

Lumberton is losing this battle bad. Lumberton is pitching a shut out.... against itself. Dang!!!

Anyone heard about the Coldspring/Crockett scrimmage? I had family come over yesterday so I couldn't make it.

It was no accident. He knows Trump does not want to go to war. I think Trump would go to war, but as a last resort. I think what may happen if Putin does not chill out, is he sanctions Russia into bankruptcy and throws 50-100% tariffs on anyone caught trading with Russia. That might temporarily screw up our economy, but I think Russia, after spending so much on the Ukraine war is not in a position to tolerate significant tariffs.

If I am the Navasota coach, I'm telling him to take his ass back to Brenham. If he isn't compliant there, he won't be compliant at Navasota. It's a tale as old as time. He needs his dad or an uncle to snatch him up by his shirt collar, drag him into the Brenham field house, make him apologize to his coaches and team, then get his behind in gear to be ready to roll before district play starts.

This is terrible. Who is advising this kid? He's throwing away a golden opportunity, and for what? Wild.

If he hasn't practiced with the team this year then technically he hasn't started UIL activities, he should be able to transfer and play.

Man, this is great news. My boys and I love turning the scoreboard show on every Friday night and getting the info from around the state. Thank you, guys, for what you do! It is greatly appreciated.

Both sides were hiding something. Uncover all of them. There’s only one place for people like that. Prison doesn’t reform sex predators they are housed in protective custody and/or special housing. Everyday someone is posting on Facebook of a child that has gone missing. Biden administration was wrong and Trump administration was wrong. Trump needs to explain to the public and to the victims families why inmate Maxine is receiving special treatment. She is not in protective custody or special housing.

I know it may be hard to hear that they likely have zero players that will lose an athletic scholarship because of the football season folding, but the truth hurts sometimes. It's not meant to be offensive. It's an absolute fact that the chances of a Texas high school football player receiving a scholarship to play beyond high school is miniscule. Roughly 2% receive a scholarship of any kind.. less than 1% receive a full scholarship. If you line up 100 kids from the state (including Westlake, Southlake Carrol, Carthage, Aledo,.. hell... Katy, Barbers Hill, Nederland, WOS..), you honestly think that 2.. or 1.. out of that 100 will be a kid that plays at Sabine Pass High School? Get your feelings out of the equation, dude. And.. believing that a kid incapable of (catching) as a sophomore can somehow be "coached up" and become a scholarship player brings your knowledge of the game into question.
