I've hired people and ended up having to let them go for poor work performance. The bow down narrative is just a new Democratic talking point......before you were conditioned to say it, how many times in your life have you said it......my guess would be zero I will say, Democrats and the media are good at repeating messages......

I do not have the correct details. Only hearsay.

Held back when? How large is this "group"?

I hate the word fair. In order to be “fair”, you have to screw the crap out of someone else. Since you are on the side of fairness, how “fair” is it to flood states with illegals in order to increase electoral votes? Illegals shouldn’t count in the census. I don’t recall republicans leaving in order to block legislation. That’s all dems do, block bills then scream bipartisanship. -
Being held back or "reclasifying" to gain an extra year of eligibility for sports. Common practice for some areas
-
I might be wrong, but I believe he thinks the parents held these kids back in junior high... I think that is what he means. *There is a group of sophomores at Vidor that when they are seniors will be one of the best football teams in the area... if they all stick with football.

Texas GOP's New Congressional Map Would Create 5 New Seats!

After each census, districts have to be reapportioned based on new census data. In Texas, according to 2020 data, districts need to be around 766,000 in population to equally apportionment 38 seats. Ten years is the traditional length between redrawing maps to coincide with the census. In 1995 or so Tom Delay led the charge that made Texas the first state to restrict between census dates. Now, Abbot is bowing to Trump to redo Texas. It is a horribly political process that doesn’t have to be. Several states use independent commissions to ensure districts are competitive, Arizona among them. I like fairness and equity. It would be nice to have districts drawn in a manner that actually made members compete for seats in the general election rather than be assured of victory after the primary. -
If he averages 180 yards per game, then he will get 1800 in the regular season. If he averages 150, then he will get 1800 in 12 games. I see PAM playing at least 12 games this season.

How does this "group" get an extra year of football?

LCM if I had to guess.

Again, you are incorrect and correct. Those young men will have played the same amount of football as anyone else and yes; they will be extremely good... if everyone continues to play football.

Good luck to the coverage area teams! -
Do not know the situation other than that group will have an extra year of football. And will be a good group coming up.

off screens?? thats my uncles grandson, but we can all go back and look at film, he can't throw down field. he's NOT a qb. i'm thinking more like 150-180yards per game passing. Well yall said i was wrong last year about jones before the season started and look what happened lol. PAM gets second or third place only because everyone else in the district is worse. Lufkin will be down, but their down is PAM's avg. BH will be a tough game and those are the 2 district L's i got coming to PAM

Happens even at a more local level. In 2021, Democrats (with Lina Hidalgo) redrew the county maps where Republicans lost a Harris County Commissioner's seat. That gerrymandering gave Dems a 4-1 majority, and allowed all the tax increases and other ultra progressive policies to be implemented. Now, after already finding a state loophole to be able to raise property taxes by 15%, Hidalgo wants more for free child care for all. -

I think I read where republicans can gain 5 house seats and it could eliminate some district reps. My post came after yours and I didn’t quote, but it was for big girl. She always seems to misunderstand. -

I agree. Just wanted to hear if there was some actual logic to the redistricting other than it being political and one side trying to get an advantage over the other. -

It’s called gerrymandering. Both sides are guilty. -
