Many Dems Are Now Leaning Towards A Harris / Buttigieg Ticket For 2028!
Reagan replied to Reagan's topic in Political Forum
I bet you didn’t think Harris would be your last candidate, did you? So, don’t cut your bunch short for doing strange things! OH, and BTW, James Woods wasn’t responsible for this. He was just passing it along. You can’t use this as a deflection of something the Dems are very cable of doing! -

I’ll amend that statement. Buttigieg may wind up somebody’s VP. -

UT alum replied to Reagan's topic in Political Forum
Really? James Woods? Freakin’ crackpot. “Many dems…” There is no validity to the statement even offered. Anyone who seriously follows politics knows that tickets 3 years out are what talking heads make up to chirp their opinions. I don’t know who it’ll be, but it won’t be Buttigieg or Harris, of that you can be assured. -
Well yes in certain sectors socialism is there…. but from what acquaintances from said areas(nyc and Harris county)have told me people are moving out of those places and it’s not just conservatives but moderates and fringe dems. Should they even be considered the “Democratic Party”……the name has been hijacked IMO….not that makes a difference to me nothing has ever appealed to me on that side. I ve voted mostly conservative with some libertarians sprinkled in.

Nevermynd. From the Trinity Trojan Football fb page **Trojan Nation** If you plan on attending tomorrow night's scrimmage, please know that North Crowley will be charging a gate fee. They also strictly abide by the CLEAR BAG policy. Freshman will begin at 5:00pm followed by Junior Varsity. The Varsity scrimmage will begin at 7pm. While ESPN will be at the game, it will not be live coverage. There will also be no broadcast tomorrow since it is a scrimmage. We would love for Trojan Nation to show up if possible! Location: Crowley ISD Stadium 9900 Hemphill St, Ft Worth 76134 [Hidden Content] Go TROJANS! #TrojanNation -
What will be your 2025 Football Schedule?

That game is Week 7 and that's when I'll be attending HF at Silsbee. It's Silsbee's Homecoming. Otherwise, I would probably attend that one. - Today

I was thinking about y’all’s QB situation, and had BH on my brain. Sorry. I’m not sold I see SCOTUS approving a change in the census/apportionment. If they don’t, seat apportionments won’t change until 2032. Long time away. As far as NYC imploding, it won’t be seen by the majority. How often do you see anything about Chicago that’s not on Fox? I don’t think the majority are that engaged. You have more faith in the everyday voter than me I guess. I also think you underestimate the allure of ‘free stuff.’ (Didn’t you post something about Jesse Waters interviews and other people on the street interviews, or was that someone else?) But, you could be right.

Its called "Mont Belvieu" not Barbers Hill, that's the name of the school. In any case I was not referring to any specific locale. A Communist mayor in NY will cause nothing but problems for the Democrats nationally. The nation will watch NY implode on TV. I do not believe TX will lose seats like CA, because CA is losing both illegals and productive Americans moving to red states for a better life. I think TX, FL and TN are gaining population even as illegals are being deported, while NY, CA and IL are losing both illegals and Americans.

This is good news.

No offense, but Barbers Hill isn’t mainstream America. Just because Dems are at an all-time low approval doesn’t mean the voters will switch Parties, and it doesn’t guarantee Republicans will show up to vote Republican. I’m reading a great number of both Parties are moving Independent. Texas will lose as many seats as California if illegals aren’t counted. I want less government intervention—from either Party.

From the article: "The U.S. Supreme Court is being urged to protect the single, statutory “Election Day” in America, and to let stand a lower court’s ruling against a state that wanted to count ballots that arrive too late. “Congress statutorily designated a singular ‘day for the election’ of members of Congress and the appointment of presidential electors. Text, precedent, and historical practice confirm this ‘day for the election’ is the day by which ballots must be both cast by voters and received by state officials. Because Mississippi’s statute allows ballot receipt up to five days after the federal election day, it is preempted by federal law. We reverse the district court’s contrary judgment and remand for further proceedings,” explained the decision from the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Extended periods for voting have become a common goal among Democrats and in Democrat states across the nation, including such accommodations as early voting, voting by mail, counting mail ballots after election day, even for weeks. Critics of such plans warn such openings simply create more opportunities for fraudulent ballots that could impact an election result." [Hidden Content]

The Communists and Socialists the Dims are electing in deep blue cities are illustrating how radical they really are. This does not play well in mainstream America. Even if D.C. would eventually become a state, that would be offset by those fleeing NY, etc. and moving to red FL, TN, and TX. Red states will gain while NY, CA, IL, etc. will lose electoral votes. Their electoral losses will further accelerate as more and more are deported.

SOC - Inner City - blah blah. Pluck the best talent from every school in the area. "transfers" - It's not impressive doing it that way.
-
I fail to see how very likely electing a Socialist/Communist Mayor of NYC and Seattle, already having one in Chicago, and—closer to home—having basically a Socialist Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and 2 Council Members reflects people waking up.
-
You’re just finding out the difference in a libertarian & a Republican. Now, it should be more clear where we align & where we don’t.
-
Not really. Dems want to do that no matter what so they can keep on with their ridiculous ways. People are waking up and realizing how the dem party has been taken over and has moved so far to the left and are leaving the party. Dem politicians are grasping at anything and everything.
-
That "could" happen, but you never win by waiting on what may or may not happen in the future. Much of what Trump has done has been codified into Law. Its not so easily reversed. In any case, it would take a sea change for that. The Dims poll about 19%, and right now its conceivable that the Republicans could even add in the mid term. Appeasement never works with the radical Dims. They are the sole reason reconciliation is now the norm in Federal budgeting. The Republicans played nice far too long then the Dims went too far. They are still paying for that today.
