  1. Past hour
  2. yeah, they probably don't need help traveling. what's 20 more miles to a feller
  3. Yes multiple kids out due to the flu
  4. Now that we have the data, can't wait for another mock alignment and I hope @Matthew328 put an Austin/Northern Austin district in reg 2 and keep PA et al in reg 3
  5. Would be a solid district. Of course, if they move us and Angleton in with Randle & Iowa Colony, it would be the 5A equivalent of 23-6A. I think with Angleton, Pasadena, SoHo, Northbrook, Friendswood, Ball & others that are closer, La Porte is kind of a floater.
  6. I say send that other LP elsewhere and add yall 🤷🏾‍♂️
  7. Definitely wasn’t assuming they’ll run the table again, just that they should be ok. Seem to be building a good program there. Still waiting on that in Tarkington lol
  8. No. Biden never wrote anything he said. I thought we are to be transparent, but with Biden, “trans” is good enough.
  9. Actually, I see GCM dropped also. So, I’d assume Sterling and GCM go with y’all. Not sure if they’d add LP to that or not. May depend on what they do with Lufkin.
  10. Thank you for allowing me to have a different opinion.
  11. Thank you man! Good luck to yall as well!
  12. [Hidden Content] From the article: "I am concerned that disclosure of these materials would damage important institutional interests of the Presidency, including by impairing the ability of future Presidents to receive robust, candid advice from their close advisers. For these reasons, I hereby assert executive privilege over the documents listed," Biden wrote in a letter to Archival Operations Division of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) Oct. 1, 2025, according to a copy of the letter obtained by Fox News Digital. "I have raised no objections to multiple requests for Presidential records from my Administration, and hundreds of documents have already been provided to Congress pursuant to those requests, but the records now proposed for release include documents reflecting presidential decisionmaking and deliberations and other materials that are protected by executive privilege," Biden wrote in the letter obtained by Fox Digital Tuesday. Does anyone think Biden actually wrote this?
  13. I agree. Dropping will help... compared to having opted up.
  14. Hardin will be competent next year but nothing like this year.
  15. That's true. They dominated the district this year.. for the first and only time in school history. And their district MVP is graduating. And their .. I don't know.. thousand plus yard rusher is also graduating. I'm sure those aren't the only seniors, but even if they have a ton back.. replacing genuinely GOOD players is very difficult to do. Hardin has never been the type of school to just reload when they lose some talent.
  16. Their explanation from the coach currently was that the people in charge before he got there made that choice on the last opt up. Bold move from a district challenging others integrity and character. BUT I expected them to opt up for an easier path for their measurement of success. And they will have success. Just dont go around beating your chests like you accomplished something big.
  17. No football coach in the state would choose saving money on travel over potential wins. A coaching friend of mine once said to me, "I'll drive across the state for a win, but I won't talk across the street for an a$$ whipping". Do you think Coach Taylor feels any different.
  18. Grew up in that neck of the woods. That’s where Finger’s Furniture used to be.
  19. Today
  20. I know why Bridge City opted up. I personally think that schools shouldn't be given the choice.. but I definitely know why they did.
  21. With that logic, would you have a problem with a school just 4 off from being in a lower division "opting down"....you know, for "travel" purposes? (I realize it's not an option). UIL should just make people play in the classification they are supposed to be in. It's ridiculous to "opt up" to get an easier path.

  23. Mungy definitely brings a different dynamic to the court! Hoping it’s a good game tonight with no injuries! Good luck to OF tonight!
  24. I wasn’t meaning it would be ugly, just saying it could if BC played like they know how…toss of the coin sometimes if you know what I mean? Which BC team will show up? All I can really judge it off of is the scrimmage that BC had against HJ, knowing what BC had as a team at that time compared to now and just looking at some scores. The first WB game surprised me the most but then the second time they played them, it was different. I do think it’ll be a good game for sure. BC’s defense was nonexistent at the first of the season but they’ve found some good momentum especially with Football being back. BC is having to move up a few JV kids tonight to cover for the ones that are out. Looking forward to a good game tonight.
  25. Kingwood Park may have thought they had escaped D1, but no such luck. Crosby, what can I say? Say hello to North Shore, Summer Creek, Atascocita, and C,E. King! Some teams will have to face both Randle and Iowa Colony in district.
