Sounds like a back-handed compliment to me. La Porte has only lost 5 district games in the last 4 years, and 4 of those were in Berneathy’s first year back. The Dawgs won 9-5AD1 the last time they were aligned with many of the same teams, and the staff was only in their 2nd year. Every year is a different year, so we’ll have to wait and see how this year’s team performs. But, to say you don’t judge a team’s chances based on talent returning is kind of odd. La Porte will play with the same intensity, and physical play they have been known for through the decades. Yes. LP had some down years between LaReaux and Berneathy with coaching changes. But, they’re still a team with a long history of consistent success and 36 PO appearances. The majority of those appearances were at the highest classification level at the time while being one of the smallest enrollment schools in the State. I’m looking forward to our renewed rivalry. It was always a fun game.

Why even debate politics? Believe in what you want to believe in and let others believe in what they want to believe in.

There is no more debate. An example, CB and all his fake profiles just try and either "win" or post for attention. Gone are the days of truthful debate. Most don't listen, they just reply to "win"

The process will be the process....I dont know which boxes will be checked but I was told by a good source there will be a DEC meeting....these things are hard to predict once you get to a hearing...what I do know is if the DEC doesnt approve it...the odds of UIL granting an appeal are slim and none

All I'm saying is this, if it gets to the district committee, those schools would be wise not to open this can of worms. The amount of movement at the 6A level is staggering and if it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander....or in this case...the Eagle.

That's what I am saying. Why in the world would any of those schools vote to disallow the move? Also, I can't really understand why Woodville would even check the box on a kid who has already left the area and has no desire to play for them? But, judging by your original comment that the form was just recently sent, do we even know that WV has said hes moving for athletic reasons?

So, you are saying he was at CF, transferred to Ball as long as Jonah Williams was there, then transferred back to CF. He did all that jumping around for some reason other than athletic?

He was a freshman at Clear Falls, Ball High soph/jr year, then went back to his original school (Clear Falls) for his Senior year.

I can't believe all those big 6A school are concerned about BH and their 3A move in QB. Somebody should ask Clear Falls during the meeting where their QB from last season came from. I'd assume this probably isn't a game any of those guys want to get started.

He was my QB when he was a Sophomore and I was a Senior. Definitely a good hire.

No disrespect to Laporte but looking at who and how they played against some of those teams wasn’t a dominant performance, Crosby was a struggle game and the only good team in the district was angleton. Now they do have weapons, but I think they are being hyped based on those weapons and not overall team play
