Missed calls will happen, that's part of the game. As an official, clear and concise communication with players and coaches is key. Brief descriptions to coaching staff are key. Many times, officials will sit there and try to have a full-on conversation about a call with a coach. This always leads to losing span of control of the game. Hope the young man recovers. Looking forward to the remainder of the 5A DII playoffs.

Game day. Key to this game for BU to pull off the upset. 1. Come out passing to open up the run. Make them prove they can tackle our WRs in space. 2. No 3 and outs on our initial drive. Points will need to scored early and often. 3. Sustain long drives. This is key to keep the defense rested. Which leads to… 4. Defend cannot give up big plays. This seems to be a trend all season. Need to not have this. 5. Need big plays on special teams. I feel this is the glaring advantage that we have in this game. 6. And this may be the most inportant. No turnovers. We’ve had games where we’ve turned the ball over multiple times. The games that we’ve won, the it overs were at a minimum. Let’s keep it going, Wolves! #findaway

SOC plays dirty in every game. Last night was an embarrassing joke of officiating. Fights from the beginning, just like in the SOC/PNG game last year. SOC is the common denominator. They’re daring the refs to penalize them, knowing the refs won’t have the guts to actually call every flag or eject anyone.

I agree completely with your last paragraph. The football team at BC has earned my respect and I want those kids to have success. On the flip side, the arrogance is really annoying. Chip on you shouler...I get it...however I've been nothing but supportive of all of 10-4A. Tried to get threads going and create excitement. You guys are no fun to talk to though. Glad you're having success. Let's see if BC can maintain the success over a sustained period of time in the future...I hope they can because I love SETX football. I understand the LCM thing has you guys fired up but my goodness show some humility. If you guys beat Kilgore in R3 I'll be among the first to congratulate you guys. My prediction is Kilgore by as many as they want...assuming you guys get by Navasota (Which I am rooting for!)

McCurdy will be the best QB we've seen this year. He has the mobility combined with accuracy. We've seen a couple decent QBs but none like this one. This is going to be a tough task. We'll have to pressure him and make the tackles when we get to him. He's going to get his yards, we just have to try and keep them from killing us. On defense they're most certainly going to keep all 11 around the LOS. With our lack of a passing game they'd be crazy not to. Just have to hope the big guys up from can create enough creases and for #4 to have another super human night.

I was told that a SOC player picked up and body slammed the Mt Pleasant player and that kid had to leave in an ambulance. Anyone at the game have footage of this? SOC playing dirty as usual?

He was a heck of a coach 10 years ago.

They were the last remaining 3A team in 2010, so Larry Haynes claimed it as a 3A 7-on-7 State Championship...

I wasn’t hating. Just saying I didn’t see much of a change in the identity and how they are playing in comparison to the beginning. I also wished them luck I think.
