  3. Saw someone mention HF and what they might have for this season. HF could be a wild card, but they'll have weapons on O. HF's really high on their new Soph. QB, Blake Broussard. He won Offense MVP at a 7v7 tournament in Mississippi a few months back. Someone who's in the know there and in the sports world here in our area compared him to Luke Babin and said he could be the best QB prospect HF has had in a long time. Pierce Pirtle is going to do his thing. Still have Dwayne Long, Isaiah Reed, Maliki Adams. Looking at their roster, like a reload year, they graduated around 2/3rds of their 2024 regular season roster. Defense was very senior heavy in that front 7. I think they might have a returner at DE. And maybe Reed, Pirtle, Adams in the backfield. It looks like they might have one returning O-Lineman with Landon Battise. This is my best knowledge, if someone from the HF community has some more insight, maybe they can confirm/deny/add on to what I said. One thing about HF though, having Blake Waggoner at OC is great for them. Him and his dad seem to have their offenses prepared and know how to use what they have. I can see some boat races happening on some of these games!

  6. Whataboutisms was created to defend hypocrisy. Example - when someone is outraged over Trump's pardons, but does not have that same outrage with Biden's pardons.....The only way to defend that is to claim whataboutism.....which is not a defense.......most people see through that
  7. They need to alternate between Dallas and Houston just to see if attendance picks up.
  8. Pete Buttjudge! [Hidden Content] @Big girl @UT alum Ya’ll all in on this one?

  10. Due process isn’t fair? You libs are good at twisting words to make others look beneath you…..like you are skilled. Condescending libs are the ones who voted for Cackling Kamala. Now be sure these murdering teens are totally protected while not giving a damn about the woman they murdered (unalived for you sensitive folks). Send them to one of your liberal judges for a slap on the wrist. Maybe the judge will aid in their escape. Criminal law????? Tell me again how often that is applied? The liberal DAs won’t even prosecute. Skill.
  11. Due process, not fair process. Criminal law exists for the victim. Due process exists so that the accused does not become a victim. Innocent until proven guilty is the American way. [Hidden Content] Note it says “no person”, not “no citizen”. Skills, Dog, skills.
  12. Whatabout ending a sentence with a preposition? It’s difficult, I know. Whataboutisms will always exist. How one can discuss political topics without them is beyond me. Shall we go back to Biden era posts and see how many times Trump was mentioned? That’s a knee slapper right there.
  13. She wasn’t responding to me, so why would I call her out? There are more effective ways to make a point than playing whatabout. That’s playground talk, but its not easy to refrain from.
  14. It’s not a rule. Just a stubborn old fact.
  15. Thank you for a well reasoned response.
  16. Much cheaper to stream or watch on TV.
  17. I just found this comment I made in May 2022 in a different sports forum… [QUOTE=tvc184;n23043687] Wait until 300 kids gather at the bus stop to go home and be stationed away with a suppressed rifle. Toss Molotov cocktails or pipe bombs into school windows. Mow down the 300 kids at the bus stop with a vehicle. Do like Adam Landsa at Sandy Hook and shoot out the locked door glass to gain entry. Wait for a school bus on a known daily route to stop at a stop sign, shoot the driver, enter the bus and proceed to……. I believe in making it tough. Make the schools harder to enter, allow armed teachers and so on but how do you stop a dedicated attacker who can choose the target and time?[/QUOTE] Is it the weapon that is the problem or the mental health and/or being shy to ruffle someone’s political feelings? We joke at times after a major news incident that doesn’t involve a firearm by saying things like, Ban knives! or Ban cars! Well here you go. A British actor believes that kitchen knives shouldn’t have points on them. “I do think there is areas of innovation that we can do with kitchen knives”. I know, let’s just remove the points and sharp edges from the knife…. 🤣🤣🤣 [Hidden Content]
  18. Not enough conceal carry folks in the croud.
  19. This is a bit off topic but I made this comment (search worked) agreeing with you in May 2023 in response to complaints of large capacity magazines. “You answer was clearly the correct assessment. If no rifle, a shotgun. Then a handgun. Then a Molotov cocktail thrown into a couple of rooms” I have made the same basic comment for years in various gun control arguments if different social media groups. If a person has intent to kill and has just a little bit of time to plan, how do you stop him? OH, BAN AR15s!! Yeah, that’ll do it…. So we have locked doors to schools. We have in most places at least one armed person. It’s over then, right? Surely no one would sprint up to a classroom window, smash it out and throw a couple of glass bottles full of easily obtained flammable liquid into the now open classroom. Surely no one would steal a car and drive it into 200 children waiting in the bus after school. Focusing on items that can injure people is a sideshow as a means to an end.
  20. Most of these folks had deport orders just failed to show up
  21. LOLOL - We are not talking about Trump......We are talking about your comment saying Obama was a constitutional lawyer and knew his stuff.......which per my link - he did not. I'll patiently wait for @UT alum to call you out for your whataboutism.......because he hates that........I'm sure he will call you out since he unbiased🤣
  22. If you skipped due process on the way in.......you don't get it on the way out.
  23. Link
  24. Trump has only won 1 or 2 cases out of 150, what percentage is that? Did Obama throw a tantrum when he lost?
  25. Pretty much true. But good for us! [Hidden Content]
