Wow!  I wasn't expecting this one. I expected these 2 trips to beaumont to be tough but geeez!  Was Nederland's Coach outcoached again or were the 3 ball not falling?  Or was it that Ozen brought it?

Only made 4/16 from 3land, Ozen shot the ball very well (ESP at the FT line), and Weisbrod was in foul trouble all game.

Listen, I have said this from the jump...Nederland is an average team that peaked about two weeks ago...Ozen and Central are more talented teams that willed their way to wins at home...Right now Nederland better try to win Tuesday night, and go into the playoffs with SOME steam..Right now reality is setting in that maybe they are just not as good as people thought they were....Good luck the rest of the way.....

Dickie- I have one question.  Why are things " in reality" now but not 2 ,3,or 4 weeks ago?  If Nederland wins the district, will they then be able to say that reality is setting in?  If teams are truly more talented, why would they have to "will their way" to victory on their home court?

I say this because I watched those kids being put at a DISADVANTAGE with the chosen strategy, and fight their way through it..They rebounded the ball, they defended, they just fought...WILLED THE WIN...Nederland looked VERY AVERAGE tonight...That had something to do with the Ozen kids, IMO..

Maybe for 4A & 5A schools but HJ typically puts more people in the visitor seats than any of their competitors and their home seats.

I agree on Ur past post, and I do believe the way the Ozen JV played tonight, they could have beaten many 4A teams in our district tonight. #23 was unstoppable!!!
