I doubt that Foreman knew about any of that when he made that hire. Bronson can run the defense if they can't find someone.

Hardin-Jefferson this past school year.

But, word is he left (or was not renewed) at a couple other places because of improprieties.

He would be in the same boat as Foreman if both knew.

I am being told by many that Peveto had baggage from other stops and any one doing their due diligence would have to question his work ethics.

This is the bigger question. I've heard everything from other issues of the kind he was arrested for, all the way to multiple DWIs, the last of which cost a young girl her life. If all of that is true, several districts in SETX need to be looked at sideways. We gotta do better, man. Our kids are worth the extra effort.

Perhaps an issue for another thread or even a different forum. This is happening too much. Celina was a big name that made all the headlines. How are the "coaches talking" and nothing has been done about it?

Happens all the time with coaches… There are a few that have coached in SETX that had some flags similar to the situation but still get jobs. It’s not just coaches for what it’s worth.. teachers to.

Sadly, a lot of school districts choose to let the pervert resign so they don't have to report it and take the time to go to court.  If you remember several years ago a Memorial coach was jailed for this and when it came out that there were allegations at other schools, the girl sued those schools.  I don't remember the outcome of the lawsuits. My favorite professor at Lamar, Coach John Payton, always told us to never be alone with any of your students.  I have lived by his advice now for 33 years.

Sadly im familiar this situation because I worked with his father at the plant for years and he was a good man god rest his soul. As far as the coach goes it was Facebook that did him in he had allegations of various kinds at LC-M Nederland Orangefield and Memorial. The young lady then sued Orangefield and Memorial but it was dismissed

I took Coach Payton’s coaching class at Lamar in the mid/late 80’s. What an awesome class and teacher.
