I’ve noticed—this year—NFHS seems to be keeping what they consider ‘prime games’ to themselves unless Victory+ bumps them off. Smart business move on their part. Leave a few for Texan Live, but keep big games for themselves to make folks subscribe.

Rules changed this year on streaming....if NFHS, Victory or TexanLive picks the game up..then ISDs can't put the games on YouTube..a few small school 2A/3A games in Rd 1 and 2 ended up on YouTube but even then the schools had to pay the rights fee...if the school signs up as a "hometown broadcaster" and does the game on NFHS then the NFHS pays the school

Thanks for the xplination.  nfhs is of poor quality.  Especially for the price point.....

I agree.  But tonight NFHS camera work was very slightly better I think, for the PNG - MH game, than TL.  The camera work for TL rrreeaallly needs some work. They zoom in on field goals and passes so that you don't see the play(s) at all. Sometimes the camera isn't on the game at all.  Recently was watching a game (Barber's Hill game, maybe?), and the announcing crew was really ragging on their camera guy ... "for the love of Mike, raise the camera!", one announcer said at one point.  Sometimes it's actually humorous how the camera will zoom in on the ball and pan as the ball flies through the air, completely missing the play. Mostly though, it's very frustrating.
