I read where teams that travel over 150 miles only win 16% of the time. If that is true then UIL is giving a disadvantage to those teams traveling that far.

Hmmmm..... if the cutoffs go down, then that probably keeps Hardin DI.

If they go up from last realignment, that helps Hardin go down to D2.

There is talk on the Smoaky board of 5A Div II numbers dropping to 1250. If that is the case both Vidor and Lumberton would be borderline possibilities to move up.

Hard to believe the number will drop by 64 students...but it does seem like there is a downward trend in the enrollment numbers across the state

I believe Vidor turned in under 1200.

That is a good amount of loss from last realignment. I assumed that area would be growing.

Waiting on MC's numbers as well as Beaumont's to confirm my theory of everything east of the Trinity is shrinking with few exceptions

And I'm also very intrigued by the number of people claiming that the cutoff numbers may go down from last time.  Has that ever happened before?
