Those that are high level players don't play in these local all star games due to scholarships(risk of injury) as well as they may be participating in other higher quality all star games and they are limited to how many they can participate in......in my day it was 2.....   Same goes for the basketball game as well....

Things y'all have to remember when you don't see kids from schools on the list:

1)  The coaches may not have submitted any names for the all-star game.

2)  They may not be members of the SETXCA

3)  They may not have paid their dues, therefore, they can't nominate players.

I'm a Director with the Association, trust me, there are coaches who simply don't submit names to be considered.

I believe you but it's sad.  I guess all 3 fit a particular coach and things like this is why he was passed over...

  • 2 weeks later...

The West opened the scoring and lead 6-0 after 1.

The East took a 7-6 lead when West Orange-Stark's Chaka Watson hit Nederland's Kevin Latulas on a 98 yd catch and run with 0:27 left in the 2nd quarter.

The East went up 13-6 in the 3rd quarter on a 15 yd pass from West Brook's Marcus Johnson to Latulas with 1:28 left in the 3rd.

The East scored their final TD of the night on Little Cypress-Mauriceville's Chris Winter's 75 yd run with 11:31 left in the game.

Thanks to PA News' I.C. Murrell for the tweets.

    • If the voting public is so flaky that 3/4 will turn against her because of this news, why didn't they also turn on Obama when it was discovered that he actually ate dog? Maybe because the media didn't play up his transgressions? And if that is the case, how much power does the media have? They can sink a career for killing a dog, but dismiss and bury a story of eating a dog? How influential would the media be if someone other that Trump won the nomination. Let's say DeSantis was the Republican frontrunner...how easy would it be for the media to bury his candidacy...instead of him having that perceived cakewalk to president? I'm just thinking out loud.
