Why does the college he attended have to be mentioned? Is this supposed to make it more unbelievable? Why didn't it mention the high school he attended? How about what church he attended as a kid?

there's articles that mention his HS, one actually had a picture of him signing his LOI to A&M. I see no issue.

Athletes get more clicks than just some random loner with mental issues.  I posted about this last night on another thread.  He went to A&M for a few months and left after the probably the biggest Aggie win in recent memory when the stage got a little brighter.  The kid had all of the talent in the world, but his mental issues ended up costing him his career and maybe life now.  I wonder if Obama will try to ban knives now because it's obviously the knives fault.

Prayers to the victim and his family.  No one deserves to go through something so senseless.

It is totally ridiculous for the media to bring up his college of choice.

It has nothing to do with his alleged crime!!!?

They will always mention the college.. Just their way to stick it to the Colleges..  You know Lawrence Phillips was still attending Nebraska When he allegedly killed the guy in prison.

Athletes and famous people get more clicks.  If it was just a random crazy guy it would have been mentioned on the nightly news a few times, then never talked about again.
