A bit confused on what this thread means as well lol... but WOS is currently 353-91-3 all-time  79.31% win percentage.  Find me a team in Texas in any class that can beat that.  I bet you can't.  Dave Campbell's records only include teams that have played 500 games but in four or five seasons we will be there and immediately rocket to #1.

No they don't lol..  even Permian at their peak was only at 80%.  Katy was less than 50% up until 1986.  Southlake Carroll, Argyle, Highland Park, Odessa Permian are the ones right behind us.  We took the title from Permian in 2005.

WOS has played a lot less games than most of those other teams, just take that into consideration. Highland Park and Longview have played over a 1000 games over the last 90 years or so.  Cibolo Steele has only played 123 games total but has a 82% win percentage.

I've been out of the stats business for a couple of years so my bad about Cibolo Steele but I was pretty much right.  WOS could go 0-50 for the next 5 seasons and still have a 71% winning record when we hit 500 games played which seems to be the going number on when we get any respect.  I'm predicting we will win more than zero games and will hit 500 games played in less than five years though.  I'd bet a million dollars on it.  For some perspective...  Ned got their three hundred and fifty third all-time win in 1991 and PNG got theirs in 1979.  That's 66 and 54 years into the respective programs.  WOS has only been around for 38 years.

Although I consider WOS my second team after Vidor, I believe Newton locally could rival WOS' record.
