I agree about removing Desoto. I am not sure they ever won it.

If we're talking about teams that have won state then the title of this thread is misleading.

Desoto cant seal the deal. Can't put them in over a host of other programs that have.
Sure head to head Desoto would probably beat a bunch of smaller teams, but within their division they cant get it done. Not sure they've even been to the title game. Heck even neighbors at Lancaster got to the big show.

Outside of Desoto and Tyler your list is solid. I'd add Denton Guyer and Cameron Yoe.

Are we talking about state championship teams or best football programs here?? I think Skip needs to clarify.

Tenaha, Yoe, Carroll, Katy, Guyer, Allen, Aledo, Cedar Hill, Gilmer, Celina, Navasota, Carthage, Argyle, Stephenville, Skyline would all get some serious consideration. Skyline has had more D1 recruits than any other school since 2000.
