There are about 220 5A schools in Texas. With two winners (DI, DII) each year, chances of NOT getting beat in the playoffs (or before)is less than 1% (.9%).

I'm ready for my crow! Nederland outplayed us and deserves to win. We didn't execute our game plan, and they did. We were totally out of sync in the 1st half, and was behind 2 touchdowns in the 2nd half before we could get anything going. Neuman has always had my respect and deservingly so tonight. The 2nd half was a good game, but we just couldn't stop Nederland after we scored each time. Congrats NED for being the 1st team to win the Bum Phillips trophy,you earn it.  I still love my Indians and we will rebound from this.

It all started when Faircloth went for on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal. That gave the Nederland the mometum in the game. So in reality PNG screwed themselves bad with that one.
