Ned. Bulldog
Is Lumberton going to make a run for district champs? Ned. Bulldog

Ned. Bulldog
No hitting? They have defensive errors or HF hit good?

Ned. Bulldog
Heard Koch wasn't behind the dish due to an injury. Big loss
greaser
Lumberton is as deep defensively as I have seen in years. Big loss? Only the SS and starting pitcher would be a big loss. Lots of solid back ups. Got to score more than one run, defense is not the problem.
Ned. Bulldog
Koch is easily the best catcher in the district and one of the best in the area. Pitchers and SS are a dime a dozen
TLB0
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^OH MY!!! I'LL HAVE WHATEVER HE'S HAVING^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Gladtobehere
Koch is easily the best catcher in the district and one of the best in the area. Pitchers and SS are a dime a dozen Koch could be the best catcher in the district and in the area....... He is the best in Lumberton and a BIG LOSS when not playing on that team. That sounds way better and if you leave the last sentence out you would keep from losing all credibility.
Ned. Bulldog
Tell me how many teams have a good SS and pitcher? Every team does. And tell me how many teams have catcher like Koch and does what he does defensively and leadership wise? Far and few between catchers in HS have his qualities
Ned. Bulldog
***mod edit*** That's enough with the player bashing. If you have an issue with the Nederland catcher, call Tim and talk to him about it.
Black Pirate
You can't argue with both of those statements from Ned. Bulldog. He is very correct with those statements

Ned. Bulldog
Your reference must clearly be cause he's committed. Just cause he's committed doesn't make him the best one
Black Pirate
Uzzle hits better but not as sound as Koch defensively

Just cause he's committed doesn't make him the best one I could really care less who is committed where. We can go by stats if that would make you feel better. PhatMack19
It just doesn't make much sense Ned.Bulldog that you have 7 post on this site, which all happen to be on this thread that you started about Lumberton and Koch. Did you accidentally pick the wrong user name?
Ned. Bulldog
Go look at all the threads about Ned. They all have been covered with info and input
AggiesAreWe
I personally think Leblanc from Silsbee should be in the argument as best in area. Just look at his numbers. ;) Gladtobehere and TigerBaseball

texas13
Uzzle is the best offensively no doubt but he is not trying to say koch is the best bet
TigerBaseball
Leblanc is the best catcher. Hands down Gladtobehere
greaser
Feltman gets my vote. Koch is very good defensively, but have you seen his backup. He would start at catcher on most teams so don't see a big loss.
