I really have enjoyed these forums in the past... If you don't like them do not visit them. Let's get the other forums up...

I am finding it hard to understand why we need a soccer forum when no one has even posted one single thread in this forum regarding the soccer season that is currently taking place.

Show us why we need a soccer forum. Lets see some threads of games and talk of these games.

Though I have interest in High School Soccer (Daughter), I have to agree with Aggies that there is

little to no discussion on this sport except for an occasional score posting.

Any news on recruiting or important info can be relayed in other forums.

Maybe I do not understand what this forum is for. Us four and no more ? Or to reach a diverse group of people and allow them a way to discuss what is important to them and their kids... What is te down side? What does it hurt?

Why cannot you post soccer threads in this forum?

Like I said, the owner wants to see the interest. So far, nobody has posted any threads here about any soccer games in the season that is currently taking place.

Why would he create a forum when no interest has been shown other than you asking for a soccer forum?

Lumberton Varsity Girls Soccer versus Hardin Jefferson at HJ last night......in the rain, in the cold, in the mud.....Lumberton wins 6-2.  Lumberton scorers were Kennedy Hardy-3, Shay Mitchell -2, and Macy Mitchell -1.  After watching all my children play soccer for more than 16 years...... last night's game has to be the most miserable game ever.  Both teams played hard, slipped and fell continuously, and laughed at each other. I even saw one referee slip down! It was so cold and wet. Hardin Jefferson scored first in the game which got everyone's attention. I thought HJ played well and am curious to see what will happen in round two of play.....hopefully on dry ground. HJ's goalie made several good plays to keep Lumberton from scoring more.

Really disappointed in you Aggiesweare.  This sight has always been great.  But you sound almost arrogant in your response.  Kinda turns my stomach. I have been on this sight for YEARS and have really enjoyed reading about my nephew on the soccer forum. I always looked at it.  what does it hurt to put up a few more options? Hate to say it but if this is the attitude of the ownership I wont be donating to this sight anymore.

I agree with dme111.  Soccer would get more hits if it had its own thread.  Does it take up too much of your bandwidth to add a thread???  What is the deal?  In years past, there have been a lot of posts about soccer.  And even if, as you say Aggie that only scores would get posted, that is something that many people are interested to know.  The newspapers and TV sports don't report those scores very well and it would be nice to know things like standings and scores from our local high schools.

Of course there is little to no posting, there is no forum for it!!!  Open the forum and then see if it gets traffic.  You're not going to see traffic if there is no forum. Duh!

    • Well, the ones who are upset by this are the same ones who can’t define a woman. There was another woman who everybody came down on for hunting. We are a nation of the offended.
    • For what it’s worth, polling after this came out show her with an 81% disapproval rating.  Only 21% of republicans said she’d be a good choice for veep, and only 28% of self-identified “very conservative” voters said she’s a good option.  Bragging about killing a dog apparently resonates poorly across political affiliations.
    • They don’t, and they won’t.  May not be an issue in South Dakota, but certainly is on the national stage.  Even my mother in law, who strictly watches OAN and thinks Trump is a great guy who’s never committed a crime in his life is completely disgusted by this.  I know about bad dogs, and don’t have an issue with what she did,  and I’m sure most of us on here agree.  But as is often this case, it’s not going to be our opinions that decide this election.  I thought she might be a valuable running mate that could bring in the female vote, but I’m hoping Trump has the sense to stay away from her now.
    • I like the approach, here it is, if you don’t like it don’t vote for me, it’s refreshing to see the Ronald Reagan approach. Not every statement needs to be based on a perceived reaction from folks. Don’t think for a minute democrats didn’t have this knowledge, just not the right time to use it, remember Romney and the dog carrier, they knew.
    • The year after he left DC spell had them boys physical… beat Roschon Johnson and the Indians at home. They were roughing him up all night long.
