Walker is a Junior this year...and has seen varsity action. He was injured his first game last year and returned to play CB. If you haven't heard of Morse, you will in the future. He may be young, but more than makes up for it in talent.

The main thing I saw of Morse was his running ability. He would just bulldoze the opponents, then burn them deep. But he will not bulldoze varsity guys, and likely not faster than most. Walker just isn't big, if he takes to many hits he might be done.
Ive seen most of his freshman games. Hes very quick on his feet, and he thinks fast. This was just as a freshman. Cant wait to see him on varsity, and once the rest of that freshman team join him...20 4a might have a new DC.  ;)

PNG's sophomores are the only class that has success against Ned. Ned's Juniors and Seniors just smash them. So if you think a handful of sophomores is going to dethrone the 2 time defending champion with more talent returning then everybody else, you're highly mistaking.

When did this turn into a Nederland Vs PNG thread??

Nederland may beat us this year, but Nederland will not be better than last year. After this year Nederland will be in decline.

I just looked at the schedules...Silsbee is playing 4 teams from our district. Should be some good mudslinging on here when we start comparing. ;D

That was the case last year. Silsbee played PN-G, LC-M, Lumberton and Livingston. Did not see much "mudslinging" when comparing.

Thats right..same schedule for 2 years. Didn't even notice it last year. I'll have to stir the pot if we win and the rest lose.
No comparisons last year because only Liv really had a playoff team. The other three were down at the bottom so no real chatter.  I suspect Liv, PNG and LCM to be in the mix for spots 2, 3 & 4 in 2013.

Went and watched the Indians practice this morning their O is very sharp looks like they have cope of seasons ago. Gonna be a good offensive year it looks like. Running back Halfin is fast and strong something we missed severely last season. WR core is awesome.

I think the biggest question is the defense.  You can't outscore everyone.  Eventually, you meet up with a team like Nederland who has a stout defense and the next thing you know... you are sitting on the sidelines watching their offense score over and over while their defense is holding you from scoring a first down.  Let's hope the defense is much improved this year and we get some W's and a few upsets.  :D

A way to help the defense for PNG would be play some of your better athletes both ways. I know BF philosophy is to not play kids both ways, but the NDNS could use some of the upper athletes playing both ways. Just my .02

OH  HELL NAW... NOT ANOTHER 2Cents!!!! hahahahaha  1 IS ENOUGH!!!

Well, a Barbers Hill .02 is a heck of a lot more expensive then a Vidor .02! ;D

    • He screwed himself when he started blowing up planes, government buildings and killing judges.  Becoming a politician is not what did him in. And the DEA was a big part of what ended his reign and it had nothing to do with politics, wasn't swaying the conversation at all, just pointing out facts.
    • I still can't believe SETX Lamar and SFA thought they would ever fit in the WAC. The logistics are incredibly bad. Couldn't they see that?
    • This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This is a tragic day for America. The guilty verdict issued hours ago against former President Donald Trump is a clear abuse of our justice system. This politically motivated and stacked trial is what we have come to expect in communist China or North Korea—not in the United States of America.   The totalitarian impulse of the neo-Marxist Left is to suppress and silence political opposition using any means necessary.    But here’s what we must understand: What just happened is not only about Donald Trump, and it will not stop with him.   The Left is not only waging legal warfare against Donald Trump. They are attempting to prevent half the country from having any say in the governance of our nation, and they have weaponized the legal system to ensure their success at any cost.    They are already using our legal system to go after pro-life activists and patriotic Christians who defend religious liberty. The Deep State is spying on conservative parents and churches, treating them like enemies of the state. They have even gone so far as to compare caring parents to terrorists.    The Left has repeatedly contested that conservatives are a threat to our democracy. Yet, they are the ones who are aggressively attacking our Constitutional Republic with blatant disregard for our fundamental rights. We cannot remain silent against such explicit tyranny.   Today's verdict is a clarion call for every God-fearing, America-loving Christian and our fellow citizens who believe in faith, family, and freedom to run, walk, or crawl, if necessary, to the polls this November. Gary Bauer, Senior Vice President of Public Policy  James Dobson Family Institute
    • Yup. Made our ISD get turf which I appreciate. 😁   But 2011 was better though.
