I have always loved the fact that we pray before each and every home game, and I love the roar of "AMEN" throughout the stadium at the end.  Nederland is the first visiting team that I can ever recall cheering at the end of the prayer, and to that, I applaud all of you.

I was a little nervous at last year’s game when those boys walked out onto the field, all I could think was, “good god they are big!!”  Needless to say, size didn’t matter.  I see us taking this one by 14 this year.

He is an amazing young man to look that far down the road of life and know where he wants to be.  You and your wife have raised a fine young man and no doubt you both are very proud of him. I wish him nothing but the best.

Our enrollment numbers at the time were way off with the 5A schools in Houston/Baytown area. Talent is talent, period, regardless of numbers. If you lose, take it like a man and stop using the excuse of "your school is bigger than mine" stuff.
