Carthage is just another level .. Tigers would have to play perfect and Bulldogs would have to make mistakes... that’s not happening at the moment .. QB is real O line is real .. and defense even better.. just is what it is... Just don’t go out like that. Stay classy Silsbee

I didn't read it as them looking past Silsbee thought he handled it well. Just sayin.

What a crying shame for those kids.  As with so many changes, this wouldn’t have happened 30 or 40 years ago.   Covid?   The medium age for Covid deaths is somewhere in the 70’s.   I have to wonder, what kind of man/woman is Supt. in Crockett.   Not one I think I would like.

I’ve never been inside a Scott Surratt locker room, but from interviews and tidbits over the years I can tell you that “locker room wall” and/or “bulletin board material” is not needed for this program. They are always motivated just to go win the next state championship. Every class that comes through there wants to win one just like the classes before them and they work for it everyday.  If you play in the Carthage program and don’t win a championship, you are nearly in the minority since Carthage wins it more often than not. No one wants to be one of the teams that didn’t. 

Truth.  I've been disappointed every time I've watched #40 (which is 7 games over the last few years), he never quite lives up to the legend built around him.  Maybe he will prosper at LSU and onward. Who knows.  

I just want to say thanks to the Dawg fans for coming to this forum and engaging with civility.  Some like myself would say it even has a touch of humility coming from such a dominating program.
Heres to a competitive game that gives everyone the feeling of competitiveness.
