I never talked bad about you or aau coaches.  I commend men that will volunteer time to be positive role models for the young males....some don't have that.   I don't volunteer my time cause I have 3 kids of my own that get my time after work. 

it says the types of calls but not why the rise   how bout lack of respect lack of Leaders that are REAL role models lack of discipline broken homes glorification of such events by media with riots to follow....."LETS BE A REBEL"   "I wanna be part of this"  But most importantly.....LACK OF the Word of God in their life.

id rather live in the backwoods then in pa or bmt.....

also I noticed you posted a try out in the youth sports back in feb.  why is a tryout needed if you take everyone

private school coach can coach its own players....uil cannot.   you must have a very long roster then. 

what am I trying???? nope didn't know you were....   and you didn't answer the other question nor did you have a comment about larger pool.   and if you do take anybody and everybody for an aau team then whats the difference between that and lil dribblers.

1. I didn't start this convo about aau coaches vs school coaches.  2. I never knocked aau coaches.   I said I see both sides.   so u r going to tell me you take anybody and everybody on an AAU team?  so aau is the same as lil dribbler now?????   There is great coaches both aau and school, but don't come on here and act like you don't have an advantage over school coaches because you can pick and choose from larger mile radius to make your team.

I was referring to your post about school coaches coaching aau....I believe it to be against UIL rules.   come on DOVE.....really   I wouldn't be asking so many questions about him if I was his handler......

yes I have a few ties there.  I have many ties.....Nederland, Lumberton, Central, Ozen, LCM, WB, King Middle School, Austin Middle School, Marshall Middle School, Warren, Kountze, EC, HJ, HF, Barbers Hill, La Porte, Lamar, New Orleans,  Metro athletic conference,  I could keep going......

I know there are some great aau coaches who do it for the right reasons.  But don't knock junior high and high school coaches.   school coaches are teaching and coaching the kids that AAU coaches are not cause AAU coaches are only gonna take the kids that are gonna help them win or fit their team philosophy.. am I wrong about that? IM sure there is some kids on teams that more than likely were below cut but coaches let them on cause momma and daddy have good jobs and are willing to pay whatever so there kid can get some exposure.    AAU has a larger pool to pull from.  EX...Local AAU has all of golden triangle and the out skirts while a school coach is only dealt the hand that live within district boundaries.

Just to throw this in many high school basketball coaches make pennies for the time they put in.  They get paid to teach which isn't that much along with small stipend to coach.    And coaching isn't just about the sport or athletic scholarships, but teaching young men and women about life.  Hard work, dedication, fortitude, etc etc etc.   I know some great junior high and high school coaches who have influenced young men morally and they didn't win a state championship.

if West Brook can keep the kids they have now then in 2017 will be pretty good.  Aaron Brown out works most.
