Going off what I saw during the spring game, maybe not. Am excited to see what RJ can do. Think this chance at RB would help him gain some valuable experience. Don’t know why everyone thinks this is the end of his QB career at Texas though. It’s not like the QB never carriers the ball in their offense.

I’ve supported bonds in the past. The last one failed in my opinion because it didn’t address needs at all the schools, just focused on a new high school. That’s a good question on what it will take to pass a bond. Am not against the turf, but I want to see the needs of each campus addressed. 

I am not a coach by no means but I know there are different formations you can run that offense out of. Our quarterback has very little time to roll out from under center when passing. You can go to a shotgun formation with the option to run or pass. On the defense a lot of it is pass coverage technique and knowing when to safety blitz. Most high school quarterbacks panic an can’t handle blitzes. Make the quarterback uncomfortable an if he beats you with his arm then shake his hand. I’ve said it before if what your doing is not working then try something different even if you do it wrong. And just because a coach has a little success in his 20 year tenure doesn’t mean he gets a lifetime contract for him and family and friends. If you believe that then you must think Jerry Jones has done a good job as a GM! No need for anyone to take this personal this is just my opinion. I’ve been a Pirate season ticket holder for 25 years! I love and appreciate the effort the kids put into the football program.  I am just being realistic about what I’ve seen for the last 19 or 20 years. Peace Out!

Agree 100%. I believe Texas is 1-2 years out. They remind me of the Astros back in 2015 when they took KC to the limit. Just playing a little above their heads right now, but just give them time. 

I would like to see us not under center every play. We need to put in some schemes with the QB in the shot gun. Our line is not use to pass protection blocking, so this will help the QB out and not have to roll out for passes. You can also run from the formation as well. Play calling just seems to be stale. Not seeing anything new from week to week. It’s not hard for teams to defend against you when you’re not showing anything different from week to week. 

I know. They are claiming one of those moral victories, therefore it wasn’t a lost. 

Don’t get to excited Aggie fans. You are only ranked this week because y’all are playing Alabama this week. Alabama needs a win over a ranked team to help off set their weak out of conference schedule. This ranking is nothing but the work of the SEC and their blind followers.

Atmosphere to me is the action on the field, but also the interaction of the two fan bases in the seats. When your side is packed and the game is intense, it loses just a little of the excitement if there is no reaction coming from the other side. Vidor, Nederland, PNG you get that with every game regardless if it's a home or away game.
