Well softball off to a resounding 0-5 start being outscored 33-2 in those five games.

I spent many years managing big box stores. When I left we could confront shoplifters in store and ask them how they would like to pay for the item in their pants/purse. If they ignored us and walked out, we could not physically restrain them.,,,,
I was having a bad day one evening and a guy ran from the electronics department of Service Merchandise with a bag full of radios and small things. It may have been about $500.00 worth of stuff. I decided to give chase (to this day I have o idea what I would have done had he stopped LOL)....I chased him to the end of the parking lot and he ran across the street toward some woods. As soon as I turned around a guy in a big truck asked if he was a shoplifter. I told him yes and he said I'll be right back. About 20 minutes later he showed back up with the bag......He gave me his card, he was a Company A Texas Ranger.  He claimed he never got out of his truck......

We are no longer dead last in 3 point percentage in D1 (which we were a week ago). We have moved up to 349 out of 352.  Baby steps!

Blown out by SMU today 75-50. Next up Texas State

Longview last two weeks slept walk in the first half then came out strong the second half.
Can't have these penalties and turnovers this deep in the playoffs and expect to win.

They have the money to still pay the coordinators as well as other coaches. They just chose not to give anymore money to the athletic department then they already do. Look at Vincent Beck. That place is in dire need of a major upgrade. They need a new locker room with a coaches office in the actual building itself. The bathrooms are definitely need upgrading. If they only realized that if you have successful programs that the money will come back because people around here will go and support them. Nobody wants to go pay money to watch your hometown team get their arse kicked day in and day out.

Head coach Blane Morgan has been relieved of his duties.
Lamar was 5-23 under Morgan.

We actually made 24 FG to their 22 but they made the 12 3-pointers while we ended up 4-24 from three point land.

At the end of July when Astros were playing Mariners the Astros Rafael Montero's pitch hit Julio Rodriguez while he swung at it and Rodriguez went to the injured list.
