Tiger is ABSOLUTELY the best golfer of all time. the records that he's breaking would have never stood had he been playing when they were set.

opening game was today. bri scurry proved why she's no longer any good. not sure about any other games.

my sister is looking into colleges right now, and almost all of the contact that she's had with coaches has been through her club team. that being said, she's playing a 3rd round playoff game tuesday night, and she's more excited about that than any accomplishment she's had with a club team (she's on a 5A team from the dallas area, so it's a nice accomplishment to make it this far)

i'm VERY excited for the world's top women players, but i don't anticipate EVER watching another one of these games... it's better than the WNBA, but i'd still rather watch curling.

as an aside, i did notice they have like 5 1-run losses. turn those into wins, and they're a healthy 11-6.

i haven't been following any baseball, but i just saw their record was 6-11. what's going on? they're usually one of the better teams in the area.

i would've liked to have seen him get another year, but now that i think about it, i don't really care. he's getting a pretty sweet payday though!

every year i've had at least one bracket that was in the 99th percentile. this year i made twice as many as i ever have, and i'm doing TERRIBLE! my best bracket is in the 70th percentile. CRAP!!!

in dallas, some of the elite clubs will NOT ALLOW their players to partcipate in high school soccer. what do y'all think about that?

the score looks pretty bad at a glance. it can be hard to not run up a score sometimes, but it's not really that hard. the question is whether it's worse to score 14 and make a team look bad or pass the ball around them and make them look bad. my sister's team in dallas won their district, and they averaged beating the worst teams in district 5-0. those teams were beaten by middle of the pack teams in district by double digits. apparently their coach found the formula for keeping the score down.
