I read this earlier, and the irony and hypocrisy coming from her wasn't lost on me either.

Coinflip. Don't let Kimball's record fool you. I'm not a huge fan of maxprep's rankings, but Kimball has 2-point losses to #2 and #7 in the country, and an 8-point loss to #3. Other losses are to the #4 team out of Utah, the #1 team out of Florida, and the #21 team in the country. They dropped a game to Lancaster in district, and the only loss I can't understand is to the Episcopal School of Dallas, an okay 6A private. that game happened between christmas and new years, so I wouldn't at all be surprised if that was a covid game. they're winning by almost 30 a game through the playoffs so far.

they beat Bishop Lynch by 16, who turned around and beat y'all by 20. i mean, if we're going off of one result. they also followed up that win against Kaufman by beating Carter, who also beat silsbee... and the same place you're getting your rankings has WOS ranked 567. how many did y'all beat them by the first time y'all played? Like I said, I'm pulling for Silsbee, but any effort to dismiss how good FF is is ridiculous. Silsbee certainly has a chance, but they're definitely dogs in this one.

FF lost by 4 to a team that's in the 5A final four, by 16 to North Little Rock (#7 in the nation) who beat Beaumont United this year, Liberty out of Nevada by 17 who just upset Bishop Gorman (#35 in the nation) and is in the state semis, and lost by 7 to Bishop Gorman, the #1 team in Nevada (#19 in the nation). Those are their losses this year. I'm rooting for Silsbee like the rest of you, and they certainly have a chance in this one, but I give them 1/4 odds.

I think y’all are being a little hard on Fogo. They were unlucky to win last year, and HJ just played poorly last night. He can’t shoot for them, and they missed a ton of free throws, wide open threes, and layups. That also kept them out of the press, which is their bread and butter. Coaching aside, if they shoot even marginally better in those three areas they win by 12-15 points.

I guess I should’ve said “prescribed” instead of “prescription.”

HJ hit a 30 footer to cut it to 1 at the buzzer. I thought they were extremely unlucky to lose last year, but brownsboro was the better team in this one. If they play 10 times HJ wins 8 or 9 of them, but the hawks struggled tonight. 50% from the line, probably 15% from deep, and at least 10 missed layups. Do that and lose by 1, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why you lost. They missed too many shots in the second half to set up their press, which was effective in the first half. HJs best players struggled tonight. The two best players in this game were on Brownsboro, when on paper HJ should’ve had the best 3-4 players on the court. Heartbreaking loss for the hawks, who’ll feel like they should be celebrating their second championship in a row, but didn’t get either one.

Definitely was wrong in my prediction on how this would go. Brownsboro has shot better than they are and HJ has played down to them. Maybe a letdown from getting argyle from the semis

Brownsboro has played a good game, but HJ hasn’t been sharp. 2-12 from deep, and missing several layups and free throws. A girl from Brownsboro has 4 threes and has kept them in it.

HJ has had 6 open looks from three and haven’t made one yet.

HJ with about 8 steals but have missed about 4 layups. Positive note, only 1 team foul, and brownsboro is going to give up lots of fast breaks if they don’t start handling the ball better

Brownsboro 2-2 from 3. Trying to run with the hawks. Not sure they’ll be able to keep it up, but have impressed me so far. HJ with 5-6 steals though, just have to pick it up on defense once it gets to the half court

So in relation to hypothetically legal marijuana use, where you wouldn’t even need a prescription, how could they fire you?

Do I think playing Silsbee as your second game in less than 20 hours, and having them run you harder than pretty much any team has made you run all year might tire a team out? Yeah, I do.
