both sides have done a ton of this over the last several years, blocking justices, attempting to stack courts, trying to steal votes through redistricting, etc. the thought that either side, when in power, would cheat to gain more power is terrifying to me.

where's your source that this would be "legal." this looks an awful lot like something someone would find on a viral fb meme. also, like cardinal stated, what crime would the republican controlled house and senate be impeaching Biden and Harris for? Ineffectiveness isn't a crime. being terrible at your job isn't a crime. being a democrat isn't a crime.

I just read this whole thread, and there was literally one comment on the very first page like the ones you're describing that was completely out of line, and that poster had already received a warning from another moderator. The problem with threads like this is that some people can't handle any negativity about their communities and programs. This thread contains a lot of truths surrounding the shortcomings ofTarkington football (which would also hold true to several other struggling programs in the area, including my alma mater), and some folks get defensive and don't want to hear it. Apart from the one comment about inbreeding, for which the poster had already received a warning (I went back and just deleted the post), there's very little on here that criticizes the community or the school beyond issues pertaining to the football field. I couldn't find a single post about an individual player or coach that was out of line, and just the one about the community as a whole that crossed the line. Tarkington has averaged about 2 wins a year for the last decade. Honest talk about the program, and what they've done (and haven't done) to improve that is not "downgrading the kids and community".

For what it's worth, the rules about bashing coaches and players only apply to local high school coaches and players. Nobody cares if you want to talk crap about college or pro coaches and players.

i had 4 soccer coaches in 4 years when I was there, which was a shame, because we actually had a pretty good team. It's always tough for them to keep a good soccer coach. McDermand was really good, but left mostly due to the lack of support that soccer gets there. Since then he's done a hell of a job building the Huffman program.

HJ and LCM have solid teams, but aren't a threat to go to state. Lumberton has a shot at state, but will have to get by Lorena and Bay City. There's a decent chance that Bay City ends LCM, HJ, and Lumberton's seasons in three successive rounds.

Man, I thought HJ was going to make the playoffs. They had a heck of a second half of district to make things interesting.

Everyone involved with building these for these prices (and everyone who's involved with paying it) should be arrested. Never mind, just found a video of one. Maybe an 8x6 box with an AC, a cot, and some shelving. I go back to my "few grand" assessment.

LA spending up to $837,000 to house a single homeless person - ABC News (go.com) This is beyond mindboggling me. I can house a single homeless person fairly comfortably for a few hundred bucks. All you need is a good tent, a decent sleeping bag, and a cheap cot and they're doing a lot better than they were before. I would think what LA is spending to house a single homeless person could be spent to feed a whole community of homeless for an entire year. Unless of course you're in california, where everyone has their hand in the pie.

lets not get carried away. I'll give you "possibly" a sweet 16 appearance. it would depend a lot on their seed and their matchups. an 8/9 seed would've been fair for them, and i don't think it's likely they would beat any of the #1s to make the sweet 16.

It's common knowledge, but I understand that some don't know. that said, having been informed, it's pretty funny how many people are offended that they're offended by the term.

American Indian is a different term than Indian, and the designation of American makes it inoffensive, fwiw. The vast majority of American Indians prefer the term Native American.
