This was kind of a weird election: a guy with zero experience but the right last name vs. a guy with tons of experience, but a couple of questionable things in his history.

Connally is good, and they've played a good, solid schedule. Silsbee should win, but they're going to need to step it up from what they've done so far in the playoffs. if the Tigers team that struggled to put Furr away, and that could've easily lost to Yates, is the one that shows up, Connally has more than enough to send them home.

I think you misread something. smitty claimed that new polls state that 50% of african americans want to impeach biden. the source was the gateway pundit, and this obviously isn't true. BG replied to this post with "bullcrap." which of course it is. Very few African Americans want to impeach biden. Which is the only reason I said she's not wrong with her assessment. Nothing in my statement defends Biden. As an aside, you also just quoted me in another thread where I'm making fun of biden.

to be fair, she probably figured that if that explanation was good enough for the president, it was probably good enough for the American people as well.

2-25 is about as unpleasant as it gets. I hope that the Cards turn it around next year. They have a long way to go. I get that they've been hit hard by covid and injuries, but that's a valid excuse for most teams at this point. Getting Adams to come back next year is a good start.

I understand the story is out there, and that Perry claims it happened, I (and many folks, if we're honest) just don't believe that it actually happened. Very little of it is particularly believable, and it's even less believable considering who it supposedly happened to.

hopefully so. Argyle is good, but they're young. HJ has all the experience you can ask for, and has played a brutal schedule. Always kinda nice to get to state and have already played 7-8 teams better on your schedule than anyone there.

I went with West. I don't care for Abbott, but will obviously vote for whoever goes up against Beto.

I never believed that story, but I didn't hate the guy.

unfortunate that this game will be in the Semis. it's the finals everyone deserved. I hope whoever comes out on top doesn't have a letdown in the finals.

Argyle beat #3 Canyon 33-32 tonight. They control the pace, but I don’t know that they can hold HJ under 50, and if they don’t, I think HJ beats them.
