  1. Sammy Owens, aka Skipper, aka powerlifter
  2. Kathy Bates from Misery, right?
  3. different generation, but i always had a thing for charlize theron and scarlett johanssen growing up. jessica biel and tiffany amber thieesen were two more.
  4. one was iffy, the other two were cut and dry. not to mention the 75 yd touchdown pass to start the half that absolutely should've been called back for offensive PI but wasnt.
  5. I was talking about winning 5 of their last 7, with one of those losses being the buzzer beater from Huffman. They also played really well for half the game against HJ. But yeah, it could be a trap game. I think they’ll take care of business.
  6. Good luck on that one. HF is finally gelling, it seems.
  7. Splendora got that upset that guy was predicting the other night, just against a different team
  8. Yeah, 63-13 mid-3rd. Hawks out of the press and putting the bench in early
  9. Might be 60-11 early 3rd. Only getting an unfocused side view of the scoreboard
  10. Scoreboard not showing up on NFHS. Best I can tell HJ up 25-30 at the half
  11. Looks like a good one
  12. Bingo. Trading one embarrassment for another. Personally, I’d prefer the 60 point loss. People can look at the gap between the two teams and understand that. I guess on paper, if one were into self-promotion, you could point to a 22-point loss and praise yourself for finding a way to keep things “close”.
  13. Explain to me the layup opportunity that lumberton was going to get in their campfire formation…
  14. Because it didn’t work.
  15. If the slot T involved handing the ball off and then surrounding the ball carrier for minutes at a time to run the clock out I would agree. But in football you can knock the crap out of people to get to the ball. In basketball you get called for bumping people and hand checks.
  16. You’re black?!?
  17. They checked two pieces of mail out of thousands, and let him know they did it. It’s well within the realm of possibility that someone tries to attack a politician through the mail, and the DOJ is tasked with checking suspicious packages to make sure it doesn’t happen. I’m a lot more worried about $30M for free crackpipes than this complete nonissue.
  18. Gohmert's a dipstick. The fact that he and Marjorie Taylor Greene keep backing each other up doesn't bode well for him. Doing some research on this, he's being dumb, and it's a non-issue. It's a nice sound bite for people to get riled up about nothing, reposting fake news and faking outrage. The DOJ "got caught opening Gohmert's mail" because they clearly marked this mail to let him know that, for whatever security reason, they decided to more closely examine the mail. Gohmert had two pieces of mail over 6 months that were x-rayed and opened by the DOJ. This happened on literally two of the hundreds or thousands he gets a week. I guess they should just let his stuff go straight through so he can get a nose full of anthrax. I like Gohmert less now after looking this up.
  19. As awful as this is, I think it's great! encourage them to congregate in san francisco!
  20. that's what I was afraid of. I'm not saying he's lying, but there's literally zero news about this on reputable sites right now.
  21. I'm going to be honest, the thing I saw was a conservative hit piece, which, if this is being portrayed accurately, is wholly justified. I haven't really had any opportunity to do any research yet. My first guess is that it's a questionable or bad piece of legislation that is being oversimplified by conservatives in the media to make Biden look as bad as possible, but also makes him look bad without their help.
  22. I'd be interested in seeing a real source for this, if you can find one.
  23. Yup... saw this this morning and was shocked to see a fox headline.
