  1. They dont make em like they used to. Where have all the real men gone ? 😂
  2. I love it ! keep it up my man👍. definitely the highlight of this year on this site
  3. At least Jasper has athletes. They wont rely on prissiness and the occasional port arthur transfer for success
  4. "SAME PLAY" Coach Jay Law Vidor example Coach: "Same Play" (screamed from the sideline at the top of his lungs) us: " coach they can hear you" Coach: " run it again , 22 pop" us in the huddle: "look at them all standing by the 2 hole, we're screwed" He would do it every play wanting the defense to hear him. I think it was our punishment. The man never even came out of the field house at practice so he probably didn't know ant other plays. He just stayed in there with his feet propped up on the desk chain smoking cigs, awful coach😂
  5. He has coached plenty of downs, allbeit he has no waste management experience.
  6. They hired the right man regardless of where he was from .Also, they did it by themselves and didn't pass the buck.
  7. Because they know how to do their own hiring
  8. I just ask if he would of got hired if his last name was different. I didn't ask for a barbay family tree although I'm sure their last names opened some doors to opportunities they never would had otherwise.
  9. Rumor is Jasper ISD would of acted as a consultant for this hire for a mere $5,000
  10. I think Crumedy puts his heart and soul into this job , being home grown. He has already proven his coaching skills at his previous job. JISD made the right hire. Congrats and enjoy the ride Bulldog fans
  11. Sorry but that's how I see it. Answer this question HONESTLY : Would he get the Jasper job in the first place if he didn't have the same last name as a legend ? I had been weened from the teet for almost 50 years. I still dabble with teets a lil' bit but more as a hobby. I tried to launch a full scale comeback but the wifes not cooperating
  12. Only three were pee wee board members. One was the league president and one was concession stand / equipment manager. The other was a team mom who racked up a huge bill while managing candy sales. No way that many cases of chocolate almond bars mysteriously walked off while in her possession .
  13. So today's the day ? I hope Jasper gets their guy, it will do their program some good. They could use a young energetic coach I wasn't ever sold on Barbay being that great of a coach and always felt he got the job because of his last name.
  14. To field both a good offense and defense they still have to be deep enough in talent. One or the other will suffer and they will have to lean more on one than the other. The new coaches won't be able to emulate Faircloths success on offense without sacrificing something on the defensive side of the ball. Maybe they strive for mediocrity on both sides of the ball but I doubt it. It will be interesting to see what their approach is. Faircloth certainly did less with more on the offensive side of the ball (other than RJ).
  15. he's probably not a big fan of Doug Williams either 😂
  16. Were you in the locker room at Baylor ? I don't put much stock in anything the news says and I would love to hear the actual facts from an inside source. I'm still trying to figure out why he should be banned from hsfb but Jameis Winston is able to draw millions of dollars from the NFL. One physically committed a crime and the other was deemed guilty by association .
  17. Me either. I wonder who else they are scrimmaging
  18. BISD needs to follow suit with PNG and hire someone with waste management experience. The new coach has a lot to clean up
  19. M.S. took all of his motor control and confined him to a wheel chair so chess was all he could do . Football is a game of chess and both gave him a chance to do something he loved. Those Indians are smart people. Their cultures philosophy on life opens their minds up more than ours. Namaste !
  20. Silsbee finally infiltrated the WO-S program.
  21. Every time I hear of Warren football I can't help thinking of my good friend. The late great Jim Wolf who was drafted by the Steelers in 1974 along with Lynn Swan and Jack Lambert. His battle with M.S. cut his promising career short. Jim was a dear friend of mine, a good man and one hell of a chess player.
  22. right but thought maybe someone learned something from him
