Although the example is pretty extreme, the logic makes sense. It is a combination of things… the school board/community play a very large role as well.

He continually complains about Matthews and Credeur, etc. but tries to explain Credeur's success with "some excellent players". I was just pointing out Mr. Melon's poor reasoning skills...
-
Are you saying that if Vidor had excellent players, then the coaching wouldn't matter? If so, that would mean that the success of Vidor (or lack thereof) has little or nothing to do with Jeff or Alvin, rather than the lower level of athletes in Vidor...

Morgan Freeman: Black History Month Is Ridiculous!

I don't have an issue with there being a black history month, but your comment is laughable.. -
I was pretty familiar with the record. Lol. I was just wondering what Mr. Melon's comment would be. This will be an introduction to a broader and already beaten to death topic.

Didn't Credeur have success in Lumberton?

Like my sweet departed mother used to say, “Son, I’d rather you were a smartass than a dumbass!”

Balloons are way cheaper to deploy. Way closer to the earth; therefore better imagery. Better maneuverability and can potentially hover over an area or choose a specific path. Not bound by orbit. I’m not an expert, but those are the reasons to come to mind.

[Hidden Content] Another interesting poll Still very early though...

Interesting question, but not logical in my opinion.
-
Don’t confuse the conversation with logic. People won’t know how to react. Lol.

I must apologize… I got lost somewhere. What is the 7 year program?
-
This is the most truth I’ve heard. I’ll add parents/community to the mix too (which equates to tolerance, support and spending). To think good coaching is all it takes has never coached at that level.
-
It depends on which one of the pee wee coaches you ask. 😎

I can’t agree with the 90%

They were out-athleted. Physical talent, but talent nevertheless.

Possibly, but in my opinion there's not enough information in the article alone to really understand the proposal.

I'm on the fence on this one... As a business owner, I appreciate the right to refuse service to anyone. I had a restaurant for several years and the local Catholic church along with Birthright would use my parking lot to protest abortion (with my permission). I would not have allowed a pro-choice rally in that same area. Nor would I accept a private party booking for an anti-gun group. It was my place, and I wasn't breaking any laws and was never challenged. That being said, anyone that wanted to quit frequenting (boycott) my business because of my actions was certainly free to do so.

I would vote for him in a heartbeat, but I hope he doesn't get the nomination...

Fair enough. It's a sticky situation. For the record, I'm 100% against a mandated vaccine.

That's very thought-provoking. I have wrestled with some of those scenarios (in my head only, lol). I'm all in for protecting what's mine, but at some point the line crosses into vigilante justice. The kids that broke into the guys were murdered per your details, in my opinion.

Same here. I suffered greatly. Still doesn't make forcing thousands of companies into bankruptcy which could have devastating trickle down effects a god solution. That's the old "two wrongs don't make a right" adage...
-
Perhaps you're not considering the fallout of bankruptcy and the effects it would have on innocent 9 to 5 employees who may lose their jobs working for the bankrupt debtors. Perhaps you're not considering that the bankruptcy may adversely affect innocent creditors and individuals owed money by the bankrupt debtors. I could probably write an entire thesis on why it's a "silly" (even irresponsible) reaction. Once again, I understand your sentiment, but the plan will do far more harm than good in my opinion.
