  1. I have firsthand knowledge of this. Corporal punishment by a parent is legal in Texas and can also be administered by the school, caregiver, etc if allowed by the parent.
  2. Yes Yes Yes
  3. Yeah, I was simply replying to @WOSdrummer99’s comment that law doesn’t try to keep criminals away from schools even in today’s climate…
  4. I can definitely appreciate where you're coming from, but looking at a wide profile of a school shooter, it's not usually a "criminal" necessarily: Male Caucasian Withdrawn (pulls back from school activities) Isolated or rejected from peers Living in a rural community Have easy access to weapons Bullied repeatedly from a young age (there is a point when the bullied child flips roles and becomes the bully) From a troubled home Often times it is a student/former student that fits the characteristics above.
  5. Very interesting.
  6. The only thing that comes to mind would be disorderly conduct. Not sure though...
  7. And also that he isn't being led around by the Easter bunny or his old lady like our puppet president is...
  8. I love that Lucas Powell is in the running, but being fair, Miller would be my vote on offense.
  9. I think I know the answer to this, so I will not answer, but I do know it varies from state to state. When answering this question, remember due process, but don't let it throw you off.
  10. I presume they have to obey the posted speed limit.
  11. Fair assessment.
  12. Just stirring the pot here, because my stance on vaxxing is "to each his own...". My question is have you received any boosters since the initial CV vaccination?
  13. Thanks to @tvc184, this is the most interesting topic in any forum on the website. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
  14. Yes and no. I will simply use the stroller as a weapon. No kid scooping though. They're on their own...
  15. That's freaking hilarious! ...And par for the course for Bax.
  16. You've got to be baiting for a Joe Biden comment... Lmao!
  17. I actually worked with him as a kid at KLVI. My mom collaborated with him quite a bit at several radio stations throughout her career. I knew his daughter in passing, but that's been years and years ago.
  18. Not really the craftsmen as much as just helper/laborer types. But it could have a small scale effect, I suppose.
  19. Are you saying the difference was the caliber of athlete? The coach? Lack of facilities? All 3?
  20. No doubt, that's probably true; soooo, figure out how to work most or all of it at the same time (like a turnaround), and it all gets done in a timely fashion or even ahead of schedule.
  21. Yes, but admittedly, they could have done the bathrooms and stands at the same time as the turf. Heck, do it all at the same time! Like I said, they probably don't know how to push work. Oh well, sounds like it's progressing.
  22. I agree, it's not a case of wokeness. It's a case of stupidity, mismanagement, lack of diversification (not the woke kind...the portfolio kind) and a crappy economy.
