We’ve had our shares of success, to include a 1970 Class B state championship.  No industry here, and not a large tax base but great people and beautiful country.

With all of Todd Shores grandkids coming up - I hope they can recreate what his daughter and that group did.

As soon as the last school gets turf then natural grass will start being hip

Evadale was going to get turf but they put a 100’ sample square down & the fumes from the Mill killed it.

Congratulations Coach!

I was at a Vidor Jr High Track meet a couple of weeks ago and ended up watching Vidor's baseball team go thru a practice. It was fundamental driven and well organized. Players really responded to the Coaches.

Thank you for all the hard work and time that you put in. You will be missed! Enjoy the BEACH!

Spring football will put all this to rest. So in the meantime, let's all just eat some crawfish and drink a beer.

I say throw money at Art Briles. No reason not to. He’d be awesome.

Peevey took West Brook to the 6A D2 state title game, in 2018, and lost to Longview 35-34. He can coach.

No idea how much Peevey is or isn’t interested, but of the rumored candidates, he’s by far the best option on paper.

I’m just posting information on some names people I’ve heard talk about here and there.

My money is on Peevey at LCM

Was offensive coordinator for Newton when we won state. Has Anahuac back on winning track. Kids love him. 

Reagan I get it you are win first kinda guy. State champs and trophy’s and all. But I’d rather a man/coach be honorable in coaching my son. We have enough criminals and immoral people in this world.  A state championship would be great but how about get my son to the next level where he could earn a college scholarship or care about what grades he’s getting in school. I rather a coach teach my son about right and wrong. That’s what's going to help him get through life. There’s been a lot of people get a state championship that ended up in prison like some Dallas Carter players from the 80’s. I mean the way your talking you would hire Coach Rush Prospt which just got the most winning high school team suspended and fined for recruiting players and having booster money pay for housing for the  kids. It’s not right, recruiting  kids and paying parents is not the route I would send my son down. I can name high schools right now that will never get a state championship. They don’t have the athletes across the board and I don’t care what coach you send there the only way your going to win at those certain schools is through recruiting players. 

No former WOS coach and LCM alum. 

This young man can definitely play. Hope is gets a opportunity.
