I was so wrong on this game. Ball definitely the better team, on the floor and on the sidelines. LaMarque is quite simply overrated!!! LaMarque would not beat Dallas Kimball, Dallas Lincoln, or Yates, the other top 5 teams.

This game is over!! Was over with 5 minutes left in game when the Coogs (Lewis) were jacking 3's instead of working the offense for better shots.

LaMarque has no patience. Their coaching is terrible.

Lewis is causing his LaMarque team to lose. He is doing too much shooting. LaMarque has to get more players involved.

LaMarque has just shot Ball back to an 8 point lead. Going down and jacking three's. Lewis has to start getting his other Coog players involved.

I still say LaMarque comes back in the second half and pulls out the win.

#15 Archie is who killed Silsbee. He scored 27 with 13 of that from the charity stripe. He was 13 of 14 from the line.

Jasper's school enrollment is 814, town population is 7,000, not 20,000. ::) Silsbee's enrollment is 843 with a town population of 6500. You would be surprised just how small these towns really are in a number sense.

Silsbee (20-2, 1-0) defeated their arch rivals Hardin-Jefferson to open up district, getting a 64-56 win over the Hawks. The Tigers currently have a 9 game win streak. Silsbee swept WOS in district last year and also defeated the Mustangs in the quarterfinal round of the playoffs. If Burkeville would get their big man to post up down low, Goodrich has nobody to stop him. But, if he wants to stand out around the three point line and jack up 3's like he did against Silsbee, Goodrich has a chance. Goodrich tries to score off transition, not much in the half court.
