My real and only pet peeve with officials is when sometimes they come to the scoring table at halftime and want to know what the foul count is for both teams. That raises all kinds of questions!! I have witnessed this myself several times and have been told by scorekeepers many times. No one can ever make me understand why it's necessary for an official to know what the foul count is at halftime of a game.

Guarentee that Kirbyville doesn't sweep. Ford will win offensive, either Alfred of Central or Garrett from West Brook will win defensive. Politically speaking, I am quite sure the committee will not allow 1 school to win both awards. ;)

If Ford were to sign with Lamar, that would have the Cards getting the top two players (accolade wise) from this area the last two years. Johnson was a Willie Ray Smith winner along with being the SETXsports.com MVP and Super team MVP. Ford is this year's Super Team and SETXsports.com MVP and should win the Willie Ray Smith award. That's getting the best of the area.
