This should be a good one. I am anxious to see if the football players for Silsbee got their legs under them just yet. They have had only 2 practices with the team. Also want to see if Jeremy plays in this game. He did not play last night due to the turf toe injury he has from football. I'll give Kountze the edge right now.

SFA looks pretty descent. They lost last night to Texas Tech, 63-61, a team that blew out Lamar.

I saw pics of EC's new gym, VERY SWEET!!! Can't wait to do a game from there.

I was told that they will be looking at both of these players. If I had to give one an edge, it would be McDaniel. Maybe it's because I like Lane as a reciever so much.

I think that was the very first time that I have attended a basketball game where one of the teams had ZERO fans. Zilch, nada, big goose egg. I would have thought at least 4 or 5 Cleveland folks would have shown, but never expected for them to have ZERO fans at any game.

Spurger just had no answer to Ced Reed, the '6"6 260 lb post. Reed with 34 points and 15 rebounds was the catalyst while Ross hit 3 three pointers late in the 3rd quarter to break the game open. IMO, Spurger wasn't agressive enough against the press. Also, it doesn't help when one team plays 9 players compared to just 5. Spurger has a very good starting 5 but they have zero depth. As for Cleveland, their starting 5 are very good but their bench is nothing to brag about. Talent falls off pretty quickly from their starters to their reserves.
