I know that Doss and Mathews were recruited. Where did they sign? ;) I would rank Mathews better than Doss. In fact, I would put these 5 ahead of Doss: Bobby McGallion Randy Mathews Philip Lindsey Sedrick Spearman Jasper Lewis I could see Doss listed among these players, but not the best to ever play for Silsbee. As for JJ being rated top 10 nationally, that's what Scout and Rivals had him listed, just going by those recruiting services.

The Tigers (4-3, 1-1) are coming off a tough loss at home to Bridge City, 26-22, while the Hawks (2-5, 1-1) broke a 4 game losing streak by getting a district win over Hamshire-Fannett, 20-18. Both of these teams are battling for a playoff spot and a win tonight would help solidify a spot. Silsbee leads the all-time series with HJ, 7-1, after winning last year's game, 56-26. Gas, I have seen both of these teams play, I am convinced that WOS is the better team. Now we know sometimes the better team loses games, but I just don't see it happening this time. Example, Silsbee turns the ball over 5 times against BC, but only loses by 4 points, had every chance to win that game, out gained BC 380-317. If Silsbee turns the ball over 5 times to WOS, Silsbee will lose by 3 TD's, you can bank on it. ;)

So, Kirbyville gives up 31 points to BC and that automatically makes their defense better than WOS's? Not following that logic. Would Silsbee only giving up 26 to BC make their defense better than Kirbyville's? Yes, WOS only scored 14 against Kirbyville, but they only gave up 28, not 51. I still say WOS wins by two TD's WOS   28 BC      14
