Wow is all I can say.

Missed free throws, turnovers, fouls, and not rebounding on free throws, and letting the best shooter in the building have space for a 3 at the buzzer.

All done in the last 60 seconds by lamar that cost them. The game. Disappointed by our performance the last minute of the game.

In the last minute LU:
1. Was called for a lane violation on LU FT's (might have been outside of a minute)
2. Missed two FT's
3. Got trapped on inbounds and didn't call TO (had 3 left), tried to dribble out? This was after a TO.
4. Allowed MSU to get a rebound after a missed FT that would have given MSU a 1 point lead.

CHOKED! No other word for it.

The 3 pointer made by Richard to win it was about 5 feet from beyond the arc and he had a hand in his face. Just made a big shot at the end. There top player took over inside of a minute and led them to the W! Ours didn't? Not sure who that is?

Coach Knight said it perfect in press conference after the game.

McNeese did not beat LU, LU beat LU!!!!!  Coach Knight was trying to call TO when James got trapped, but officials did not hear or see it!!!!  But I agree James or other LU players should have tried as well once they knew they were in trouble.

Tough loss, but think it will be an eye opener for them.  The media has been blowing them hard lately as the team to beat in the conference.  This will only make them work harder to achieve their goal, instead of thinking that the conference is going to hand it to them on a silver platter!!!

Not exactly...A Steve Roccaforte team that shot 31% on the road would have lost by 20! Thats something that we talked about on the ride home. Because of the defensive effort LU had a shot and should have won. Thats a Pat Knight thing.

And yes Pat tried to call TO, but James had already tried to split the defenders and lost the ball

We should not give Lamar a freebe on this game. You go on the road and play a rival team and you don't play well and try to turn it on in the last five or six minutes. Lamar has play better teams to get them ready for confrance play and we lose to a inferior team, a very winnable game.
