Honored team from '02, '03, and '04 before the game. 3 year run of regional appearances.
Very large crowd for SLC baseball.
LU wins 10-3. Had 15 hits on the day.
Move to 28-6 overall and 7-1 in conference.
Hope you and your grandson enjoyed, @AggiesAreWe.
Enjoyed the game very much. Grandson had a blast and was wanting to go back tomorrow but I got a date with a recliner tomorrow to watch final round of Masters. Besides, his momma (my daughter) said he had a little girls birthday party to go to tomorrow. He wasn't too happy about that. lol

I'll be attending tomorrow's game with my grand son.
Looking forward to Lamar ruining another of spidersal's day.

Lamar is playing better than they have in several years. The pitching has been very good. Hopefully this will be the year that they win the conference title and the SLC tournament Yea Cardinals keep it going
All this under the leadership of a guy you said was not any good and should have been fired.
Same goes for the softball coach, women and men's basketball coach. Get rid of them all, says you.

Now, who is he going to hire as his OC?
What direction is Lumberton going to go in Offensively?
I would expect him to keep the current OC if he is still there.

An 11 inning no hitter but gave up 2 walks. spidersal can't be pleased with that.

What are the current district standings after last night's games?

Chase McDonald named Athlete Director/ Head Football tonight at board meeting
Yes. The interim tag has been removed as it should have been all along.
This is a good thing for all involved.
Congrats Coach McDonald.

Standing is not the issue. Mulkey, for anyone who knows anything about her, would never allow kneeling. I would think anyone with any connection to Baylor would know that. The issue is the practice across college basketball, men’s and women’s, of being in the locker room going over game plans, praying (for LSU at least), etc., when the anthem is played. Just like apparently Iowa was as well last year when they played. The issue is clickbait articles talking about a team “walking off the floor” during the anthem (while attaching a video showing nothing of the sort because that was a bold faced lie) and dolts being gullible enough to fall for a headline and share it across social media until it becomes “fact.” The issue is calling maybe the most politically conservative coach in the sport “woke” because again, well clicks. But such is the “low information” society we live in I guess.
And for the record LRF, I would prefer the teams being out there standing when the anthem and school songs are played, just like in football, baseball, etc. I’m guessing that will become the norm now and that should have been the story, not the deceiving one that has been circulated. So perhaps some good will come of it. I’m not even an LSU fan and am glad we get to see another game or two of Clark. But if anyone did an ounce of research before posting this trash, they could indict almost every (if not literally every) D1 CBB coach in the country.
100% agree.
It's what we call here a "Reaganism".

More "misleading" news.
Starting to feel like the "right" has become the "left" in this department.

30 yr old minor leaguer. Wow what a performance!
He was completely spent at the end of that one.
Never been beyond 6 innings in his career.

Well, you have a point somewhat. Sometimes you get reprimanded for not what you did, but for what you did NOT do…
Reprimand is a reprimand.
Each side has a story, Same for Frankie.

I was told that Frankie had ran into problems at his HC job at Dobie to put into better words. Word travels fast in the coaching realm. You see where I’m going with this?
Same could be said about Coleman at Summer Creek.

You 2 tickle me with some of your post. Yes Lamar is playing very well right now and has 2 Hugh wins against OU. The pitching seems to be much better this season and they are scoring a bunch. The only 3 really bad games were against A&M, South Alabama and Baylor. I hope they keep it up. The key to me , will they continue playing like they are against OU or will they play down to the level of competition in the SLC. Hopefully they will win it all with a very good record and possibly get a 3 seed in the regional round
You tickle all of us with all of your posts.
One has to laugh at your posts or be miserable.

LU with a 13-8 win over OU. Go for the sweep of a ranked Big 12 team tomorrow!
Wait, this must be a mistake. No way this can be happening according to spidersal.

It's a basketball academy now. Basically can do what it wants.
A perfect situation for those folks. Can play UIL but not have to abide by the same rules as other UIL schools.

Framber really didn't pitch well yesterday. He walked 6 and hit a batter in 5 innings. Had he not been bailed out by three double plays, I believe Yanks run him out earlier.
You are very right in that the pitching staff has to get healthy.
