I believe this last fiasco has finally shown the need.
Actually, I was told it was going to happen this year while putting in new track but the donor had to back out due to health issues.
I see it happening very soon.

Thanks Aggies.  Thought there was 2 INTs.  Will make sure of right info next time.  My bad on the 5+ and should have clarified on the turnover opportunities, which I was thinking about at the time. 
Still those are just the LOST turnovers.  Still too many chances left out there for the opposing team to capitalize on.

This will be another tall order for the Tigers as Coldsprings is another run heavy offense that probably has more team speed than BH. Coldsprings is a powerhouse program that is use to winning a making deep playoff runs. With a new coach this year and six returners on offense and five on defense Silsbee, again, will have to slow down a run game to have a chance. Coldsprings will need to force Silsbee in three and outs and keep the Silsbee offense on the sideline. I believe Silsbee will again need to score 30+ points to win. Silsbee's young defense grew up some last week, how much more will they grow up this week. I'm going with the homer pick and taking the Tigers. Go Tigers!!!

Silsbee tied it at 20 late, then BH threw a hail mary to take the lead with about a minute to go. Good ball game to start the season.  

If Adonis Thomas knee sprain has healed, I see him getting the start.
Will also see Desmond Armstrong get some snaps.
I was also told that Michael McCain was asked to move to RB and he said yes. Back to his old position.

I watched Silsbee last year. Sometimes I saw Partain playing quarterback and thought why don't they have Thomas in there and other times I saw Thomas playing and thought why don't they have Partain in there. They were pretty equal. Patron was a better passer and Thomas was the better runner. Unfortunately Silsbee was not very good and neither of them looked very good. Last spring when  Partain was injured and it appeared he would not play this year. Thomas went to work. He lost weight, got stronger and came back ready to play. Now he looks really good. Patron would have improved too if he had been able to play. They are both excellent athletes and excellent young men. I hate to see people speaking negatively about either one of them. Hopefully Partain will get healthy and make his name in baseball or return for a senior season in football. This is Thomas senior season and I for one am hoping he makes the most out of it. 

Well, I would've stayed, but Silsbee has a silly policy...  They send the sub varsity teams to the bus and send them home.  They can't even stay to watch the varsity teams.  You figure they'd want team support....

That no one gets injured

I do believe Silsbee will be improved and I expect the game to be much closer this year. But last year I felt Silsbee was down much further than I've seen them since the drop to 3A. And I'm seriously not trying to knock them at all, just an honest opinion. They will need to make some vast improvements to get back up there with Jasper and WOS. I will say this, I know they have talent in the school and I've seen what went thru their Middle School. If some of those kids are still playing I expect they will turn it around.

Mackey has hands like glue how could I forget him. Silsbee should do well for sure. I hope the QB can get the ball to them

​I remember PNG kept asking for more tickets when they played Silsbee a few years ago. Kept saying the allotted amount sent was not enough. Silsbee sent more at their request but ended up PNG not filling up the visitor side.
Silsbee's visitor side holds about 4000.

Most teams have 1 elimination game loss, hence being eliminated.

Great feat for sure, but I don't think we will ever see another horse like Secretariat.
