I read where Ted Cruz tweeted that since Hunter Biden's paintings are going for $500,000, just give each illegal one as they cross.

And as much as we miss the ton of work he put into this site, we miss his quick wit and insightful posts more.   He was one of a kind and irreplaceable in every sense of the word.  But thank you to Mike (and Lisa) for doing all you can to try and pick up the slack.  As bullets said, I don’t think it will ever be like it was.  That’s what happens when you try to replace the irreplaceable. 

And the plot thickens…..stoolies  will abound.

Here’s the deal… some people say that the democrat party made a switch about 60 years ago and went from being the party of the white supremacists to becoming the party of minorities. Nobody can actually point to exactly when this change occurred. I disagree, and here’s why. 
I believe that there was no switch, but rather the Democrat party is simply the party of bigger government/higher taxes, and their bread and butter has always been racial politics. When it became obvious that it was no longer possible to motivate white people to vote D based on racial preferences, they had to decide who else would feel strongly enough about issues of race and that’s where you get the push for minorities from the 60s or so forward. 
But there’s no difference between a Democrat in a seersucker suit down south in the ‘30s hollering about race and a Democrat in a brightly colored suit yelling about race in 2021. 
I also think that’s why you’ve seen the small group of actual white supremacists move towards the republicans over the last few decades… they just don’t want to be a part of what is seen as the “minority” party, so they end up moving towards the Republican who don’t want them. 
You can look back forever and see that the republicans have always been for smaller government, pro-business, and on the moral side of every social issue from slavery to abortion. 

Let’s hope the left continues to not figure it out.  As the late great Stevenash used to point out, they always deem themselves right and never pause for introspection.

Igor Danchenko's arrest is linked to a federal grand jury indictment in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Durham is charging Danchenko, a Russian citizen residing in Virginia, with five counts of making false statements to the FBI. The charges stemmed from statements Danchenko made relating to the sources he used in providing information to an investigative firm in the United Kingdom.

Another thread sidetracked by troll boy.

Our great country is based on the constitution. The problem is over the years the constitution has been warped depending on the interpretation of the sitting SC justices at the the time. Our country's downfall and  potential demise is allowing the constitution to trump the word of God. 

Romney instituted “RomneyCare” in Massachusetts.  Which ObumerCare was patterned by.  Not what a true conservative would do!  

I hate the word “fair”. In order to be fair to someone, you have to screw the heck out of someone else. 
We had Bible class as an “elective” when I was in high school. Go figure.
