For everyone involved, I hope not. Everyone who left the bench that game was ejected, leaving neither team with enough to finish the game. Result was a double forfeit. West Brook fans should expect this to count as a loss. The four kids who initiated the fight were all suspended for the next game. All of the suspensions were recommended by the UIL, but school's discretion. One Silsbee player was suspended the rest of the season. Both programs placed on probation for two years. At least that's what I heard the UIL ruled... You can thank that brawl for the UIL instituting the automatic one game suspension after an election, which is honestly a good policy. These fights like this are pretty scary when they involve multiple players and leak into the stands. Needs to stop.

Jones hit 2 threes overall, I think. Johnson hit 1. Taking Arline out of the starting lineup kinda lessens the 3 point threat. The way this game was being called, taking it to the basket and trying to draw fouls was the better strategy anyways. Dunk count was 1 - 0 Silsbee.

They love to say they’re so much better, but then they look next door and can’t help but remember that’s where they came from, and if we’re really so bad over here then they’re really no better. It’s a fundamental difference in philosophy, really. In Barber’s Hill, they all say “We’re better than everyone else.” In Baytown we say “You’re no better than anyone else.” Sure, kick us while we’re down. I just saw the video. Going to be lot's to sort out. Many many players left the bench for both teams. By rule just about everyone will have to miss next game. The two that threw down to start it all, will likely miss more games. Be interesting to see how this all gets worked out.

The targets set by the F.A.A. and the controllers union call for 30. The lawsuit represents nearly 1,000 individuals who went to school to become air traffic controllers . They passed the normal test to obtain the position right before the Obama administration said the class was too white and threw out the tests with the applicants, the suit alleges.

Lufkin's indoor (T J Turner Training Center) was built in 2005, it was part of a combined new turf and scoreboard project at Abe Martin, the place has served it's purpose well and has the ability to be expanded to a full sized field in it's present location. Coach Outlaw like to get things done back then. I have a feeling that Carl Asbeck will help to get more things updated and done that are needed for Abe Martin today.

If the title was changed to that I think the servers at SETX may blow up.

Local schools won't play us. Which is a shame because of the number of colleges we have at our games. We had two schools coming to a fall game this year and Hardin Jefferson cancelled on us the day of.
