Hey folks. Just wanting to gauge interest in possibly starting up a HS football podcast for our area. I already listen to a few podcasts from LSG like 59N and Grant/Terry’s two shows. They cover our area somewhat, but it’s usually a part of a bigger area or the entire state. Bare minimum, the proposed podcast would run maybe 20-30 minutes and cover SETX teams week to week. Final scores, standings, and other bits of information along the way. If we’re really getting after it, there’d be some extra stats, short interviews with coaches and some of the broadcasters in the SETX Sports group, and some highlights around the state. We could even expand into some of the other sports as the year goes on. Again, just trying to gauge interest. Personally, I think it’d be good for not only our contingent on here in the forums, but folks in the area that want to keep up with our local teams. Feedback appreciated!

Please don’t attempt to minimize my post. If you care about “our” rights, then you should care about Trump’s. If one can be violated, then so can we all. Very serious about this.

The two lumberton teams our last chance to have a local team advance. They both have a shot, but the boys have a slightly easier matchup. The girls play Bay City, who is 26-2 with their only losses coming a 6A playoff team from Houston and 1-0 to salado, who’s already advanced today. They’ve won their 3 playoff games 8-0, 9-0, and 10-0. The 10-0 win came against Columbia, who came into that game with a 21-3 record.

You are correct West Fork will pull students from both New Caney and Porter. As for next alignment- New Caney will probably be 6A and Porter will be 5A. New Caney has an extremely large Freshmen class (over 700) and Sophomore class (over 600). With rezoning- they will definitely drop in the 24-26 realignment.

It's coming sooner than later. They're all jockeying for positions when the new regime is finally set. New leadership from either side would be a breath of fresh air. Your party embraces the killing of the unborn, up to delivery, they want men to be allowed in girl’s bathrooms, they want elementary school kids to be exposed to graphic sex education topics, I could go on and on. Don’t act surprised when your party get labeled based on their actions.

Your generalization of the left was accurate. The fact some on the left can’t see that makes liberalism a disease. Everything the woke left touches turns to 💩! Just look what’s been done to this country the last 2 1/2 years. It just seems to be overlooked which is scary in it self.
