    All those butt whippings before district really payed off. Not a fan of seeing us lose by 50 points while half our team is playing football, but you can't argue with the end results. This Yates defense was nothing compared to United.

    @whsalum#25 I think is just as good as #40. I think Lum #23 is just as good as #22 from Huff. #4 and #2 is even. #4 Huff is the mismatch but I do feel Lumberton’s bench is better. Going to be a good one and whoever’s Star shines brighter tonight will win the game. Also watch the rebounding advantage.

    I know Wharton had a pretty decent team last year. I think they had 3 or 4 starters return. I think were Region 2. They had some athletic kids. Seen some highlights. Might remind you of WOS. They played in a very weak district. They lost to Sealy and barley beat BC. Ill still roll with Silsbee by 10-14.

    Would have been really cool. Lumberton v Huffman Silsbee v Bridge City two school’s known for having success in basketball (obviously Silsbee much greater than Huffman) and two surging programs in BC and Lumberton.

    They're 21-6, so they're obviously a good team. in 18 of those wins they've scored less than 55 points. It's obvious what kind of style they play. They're not going to try and run with HJ. When they break the press they're going to set up in the half court and eat the clock and try and wait until they get their shot. I'd expect them to do this even more against a high powered offense like HJ. Their best defense will be eating the clock.
